Excalibur KTBFFH 109
The first time pass from his own half to Eto'o I love passes like that. Anybody got a video/gif of it? There certainly would be one if we had a striker who could have finished it off, would have been assist of the season. Hazard is only going to get better when he has a world class striker to work with. sdrcfc, zolayes and mediator
manpe 10,861
He dribbles through players like they are training cones, its outrageous!!It's because Stoke players were like cones. At one point even Ivan dribbled past them if I recall correctly. Not to take anything away from Haz, he was on another level. kellzfresh
kellzfresh 7,229
Messi included. Messi can be a madman at times. Goes through the whole defence and the keeper then chips the ball in. Hazard's not there yet
Gilvorak 3,734
Prime Eto'o would have easily finished that first time pass in the first half. Just doesn't have the extra yard of pace anymore.I still feel his impact and talent is understated by the media/casual fans. A lot of people wrongly think Mata is the better player for some bizarre reason.

Hazard's not there yet I can also make an argument and say that sort of stuff is only possible in the Spanish league were the defending is poor and the quality of the average teams are lacking. Look at the way Stoke defended today. Concentration, organisation, closing down spaces, strength in the tackle etcYou will never see a Spanish team defend as good as that. That's why it's possible for a guy like Messi to score 60+ goals a season. No way that happens in the PL mediator, kellzfresh, Ze Mario and 2 others
bluesman2610 1,417
Watching Hazard playing the way he is right now is making me speechless. He has improved so much it's unbelievable, not just offensively but defensively as well. I'm really really pleased especially that now he is so much more purposeful with the ball; running at pace and taking defenders on, decisive with the ball, getting to the byline and shoot at goal when it's possible. Last season, he was hardly doing any of this and at times, it felt as though he was just strolling around. He has definitely improved on the overall aspects of his game and doing so with consistency as well.This.. could it have been tactics by previous managers to not give him so much responsibility to take over the game, those duties used to fall to a former player of ours but Jose wants Eden to be the main man and now we are seeing more of the Eden that takes people on whenever he gets the ball Barbara and communicate

Popular Post! BlueLyon 9,359 Posted January 27, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted January 27, 2014 The main reason Bayern is dominating everyone right now is because even their most offensive players know how to defend. Ribery, Robben, Muller and Mando (soon Lewa). And those players not only track back, but they are world class attackers who punish you for every mistake. Their pressing is unbelievable and when they dont score or dribble, they still track opponents and play extremely big part of victory. Hazard, Willian, Oscar and potentialy Cavani (wankfest) would equal them in WORKRATE and QUALITY. With one difference: Hazard is 23, Oscar is 22 while Robben and Ribery are 30. Its amazing potential and cant imagine how fantastic this team could be in 2017 when most of our young players (Hazard,...) reaches their peak. And evolution of Hazard from last season to this is just unbelievable. Becoming complete player, he is going to be realy big in football. The main question is if he can be game winner. BlueLyon 9,359
I just hope that after next season (when we will probably win couple of trophies) our team wont fall apart. Its common with Mou that his second season is best (Inter, Real) and then he leaves (Inter) or problems with players/board start to happen (Chelsea, Real).Mou was lying in press since he arrived (about transfers,...) and I hope when he said that wants to stay forever wasnt a lie. He is one of the best attackers in today's game weather people like to hear it or not. He can EASILY get a place in the starting 11 of Madrid Barcelona Bayern. We know Hazard has got all these abilities and skills but if he doesn't get his head right and utilize all of that in the right way, then there is no point. The things he said the other day with Eto'o about needing to go into every game and make a difference, be decisive etc certainly shows that. He wasn't really doing and saying such things last season. Now he looks much more mature in the things he's doing and saying. Barbara and The Skipper
