People are well aware of how good City are and how poor we are. Regardless of that you need to show some ambition and willingness to fight for 3 points or at the very least try and salvage a draw. We went down 1-0 at the start of the second half. With the set up we had we weren't creating anything yet Conte didn't even try to change things. He didn't even try to salvage a point until the 75 th minute. Half an hour !!! after we conceded the goal. LukakutoStamford 779 Posted March 5, 2018 Share Posted March 5, 2018 The problem with Hazard as a false 9 is that he’s getting mostly route 1 balls, which basically minimizes the chance that Chelsea will maintain possession. The rest of the team hasn’t shown the ability to bring the ball up, pass to Hazard at the edge of the 18, and make runs into the box to be played through. It appears that spending has been reigned in but the young potential talent hasn’t been brought into the team as needed. Granted getting De Bruyne and Courtois for less than 14 million pounds in total was the steal of the century. It just doesn’t seem that Chelsea has been able to lure young talent from the 19-22 bracket or at least young contributingbtalent save for Christensen.
