It would unsettle A LOT more if he came out right now and said he wanted to leave indicating his head's not in it anymore, don't you think? Not to mention the media shitstorm that would ensue, we would be completely unable to concentrate on the task in hand (finishing top 4). Also the way he's been playing shows that he's fully committed, so I don't think those rumours unsettle the squad at all. If he was a random benchie with barely 100 mins of game time it wouldn't be so bad, questions would still be asked though and our "crisis" would be magnified, but a key player like Hazard coming out and downing tools would send everything into chaos.

There was this one play where he demonstrated immense strength by holding onto the ball and turning while being pulled and hassled by a bigger Barca player, to then play a perfect through ball to Willian to kickstart a very dangerous counter that Willi wasted. In the first half he also broke into the box dribbling through two players and giving 2 dangerous balls in quick succession. He did all he could in a game like this and in a system where he was supposed to be a decoy and the instigator.

that just shows how smart Conte was with his tactics, thankfully it paid off in the end, caught all of us by surprise how well it worked, and on another day we would have won this game by 2 goals, this result just reflects how tight our encounters with Barca have been these past years, no other team has come close, only Atletico comes to my mind, it all comes down to tiny details in the Champions League.

Not long ago he was saying we don't need another CF because we had Michy and he can play as a striker and now hes complaining because he played as a striker v Barca after saying all that stuff in the run up to the game about wanting to shine v them? Ridiculous. Or False 9 position or striker or whatever his position was.

I agree with him he was better on the wing but unfortunately Eden Hazard is not manager and quite frankly the game plan of him as a false 9/striker worked excellently although he was restricted in his involvement. Willian for example excelled and played arguably his best game for us.

I have to agree with Hazard here, I think many of that long balls could be hold up by Giroud or Morata and than played to Hazard&Willian bursting in counter attack  We could see many long balls going directly to their center backs because Hazard didn't even try to go to duel with Pique or Umtiti (and righlty so because he is not that type of player and he could risk an injury).

Morata or Giroud should start at Nou Camp, to add something to our game, some strenght upfront and to have "route one" option out of the defence if they press high

Pretty sure he was talking about using him as a striker as an emergency not when we've got 2 strikers on the bench.

I hope we play with a striker at Nou Camp. 1-1 is a bad result for us. We need to score and in the false 9 sytem we didn't create any clear cut chances. Willian scored and hit the post twice from 3 long range strikes.

Apart from that i can only remember the freekick from Alonso  and two shots from Hazard (left foot shot and a volley). 

We need to score to go through and honestly i don't think we're gonna be able to keep a clean sheet at Nou Camp so we're  gonna have to score twice. I don't see us doing that with a false 9 system.

Actually it's 1 in 4 games that he's been played as a false 9 this season.

9 times in 36 games.  

Also you can't seriously be comparing how Barcelona play a false 9 with how we play it.
