Hkibou 622
You illustrate why I am getting fed up with the forum. Idiot cunt. All this fuckery in presaeason, all the posing.Just ban me allright. The amount of nonsense ..... Take a hike with some of the plastic fans on here without a clue. Fuck that shit.Come on man, seems to me this forum is essentially populated with good, mesured people who know quite well football. For one troll there's ten others telling him to get the fuck out, a 1/10 ratio is excellent compared to other forums i've been in BTW, did you watch the Lille-Lorient game last night ? It was soporific but Origi played the first 55 minutes and scored the only goal of the match, a one on one against the keeper won with plenty of composure sureshot, Muzchap and Stingray
Barbara 15,149
What does Technical ability or talent have to do with sloppy passing and poor decision making. They are mutually exclusive and there are plenty of highly talented players also guilty of the criticism I levied against him . . .see Neymar, Arda Turan, Di maria, pastore and so on.There's a reason he was poor/average for majority of last season and his inclusion in the player of the year shortlist was met with criticism and mockery by neutral/unbiased fans and pundit. only if some people would remove their blue tinted glasses for a minute and be objective for once.WTH did I just read?I now understand what some people warned me about the Eden thread. This is the 2nd, 3rd nonsense I've read about him this week (although some of it was in the match thread). I don't know where people get those ideas from I honestly fail to understand...Hyped on potential, now sloppy passing and decision making... and to ice the cake poor/average for most of the season...And who are neutral/unbiased fans? Because they can't be Liverpool, Arsenal,ManUtd, ManCity fans... who are generally very biased about our players.I understand frustration with his finishing.. he is frustrated with it and he set a very high bar for him this season. He has a great manager that already recognized his potential and talent. And he is 22!!!!! Give him time. And if our glasses are tinted with blue, I suppose yours is with solid black? Because there's no way you've seen Eden Hazard at all. semiller1313, Mufassir08 and DJames

I see they are getting to you a lil bit when the are criticizing the belgian players take it for a grain of salt man its preseason and we may expect alot from the lads but we already know the quality of the players once in form so the 6 games really mean nothing but fitness.. Chelsea? 892
"good" dribbler? incredible dribbler. He doesn't try too many fancy stuff. so its ok.Needs to work on his finishing, yea. I would say only Ronaldo, messi and iniesta are incredible drubblers. Peace.
Chelsea? 892
How exactly finishing very poor? Inconsistent is perhaps more accurate, and even that's a bit too harsh I feel. Mata for example, is one who needs to work on his finishing. For the amount of chances he has at goal, he could easily become a 20 goal per season midfielder. Hazard perhaps needs to become a bit more selfish, but tbh I like his laid-back approach to playing. It allows him to play his natural game, which has worked out well for the rest of the team.lol come on... There's no way Eden is a better finisher than Mata. I couldn't help but lol at this post. It's like your head is so far up Eden's........ That u can't criticize him. He has more problems with his finishing than inconsistency. But overall he's a pretty solid finisher. It's not like he misses sitters on a regular basis. Bir_CFC
Moros 86
You're right when you say Mata is a better finisher, but if you say Hazard isn't one of the better dribblers around I guess you're just fishing for a reaction. Well, happy fishing then mate.

Eden is more of a run past u than Lucas moura, who will dribble you.
communicate 2,703
Wow this thread has become crazy.I have said it a couple times before, I want hazard to emulate messi development. A couple years ago, Messi was known to be just a dribbler like what hazard is right now. But right now messi passing and finishing is just world class. I am not sure he will ever be as good as messi. But if he can be close I think even Hazard will be more than happy.
Zone 290
Iniesta a good driller?? and hazard is not, really what are you high on?That high is called reality. Take a puff of it. Hazard is a great dribbler and he shields the ball very well but nowhere near Iniesta when it comes to dribbling. He has the talent to get on that iniesta level....hopefully. How a player does it is completely up to him.If a player wants to make 20 stepovers to wrongfoot a defender then so be it.But i see nothing wrong with a player simply dropping his shoulder to wrongfoot a defender and then simply running past him. I understand what you mean but he cleary used Hazard as an example of someone that just runs past players rather then dribble them.

Whereas Mata has so many goalscoring chances (created by himself or otherwise) he could take his goal stats up by several notches by finishing better (for example not hitting it straight at the keeper or generating more shot power)
