He really hasn't and isn't.

Very rarely he actually has bad games, even in the average one's he's driving the team and creating more chances than everyone else combined bar Cesc.

He wasn't playing well today...but even a tired Eden and Cesc should not be subbed before someone like Bakayoko or Morata today.

The Atletico and Huddersfield games he was excellent, he was decent vs Brighton and at The Emirates, pretty poor the last two games granted but the last time he was this poor was vs Wolves last season.

You're right, he was good against Atletico, however his MOTM award against Huddersfield was, for me, the biggest surprise I've seen in football since Leicester won the title. He did a couple of backheels and Robbie Savage on BT comms was jizzing everywhere. He doesn't convince me, never has, and probably never will.

It just shows how much we relly on Hazard .. If he play bad = we are shit..  Fabregas is getin older and slower and we dont have someone else who can make a magician thingy.. Not with bakayoko, moses and etc..

Teams are just packing the middle of the pitch now and Hazard has little space to work his magic. At least in a 3-4-3 he has Pedro or Willian to play with. He is getting isolated very badly in the 3-5-2.  Even a dunce who knows little about football can see that.  Conte our manager who gets paid millions of pound apparently can't.

Conte subs Hazard of all people out at min 60. Hazard must be pissed. Maybe Conte is trying to make Hazard look as unattractive as possible to other clubs. Otherwise he's clearly lost the plot. Even Mourinho knew to never sub out Eden (whether you agree with that or not from a fatigue perspective)

He's been terrible today, no doubt. But Baka wa also terrible, so why take our best player off when we need to push and win games?

You say we overrate him. Have you thought about the other possibility which is you just don't see how good he is? When so many people (experts and nobodys like us) agree on something it is generally true.

I know Hazard is our best player but for god sake, he's not immune to criticism! Every time he goes AWOL, people keep finding excuses for him. Did anyone see the number of times he gave the ball away against Leicester? Had it been Willian, people would have thrown him under the bus.

I don't know if you had the same match co-commentator as I did (Tony something) but he was having a go over and over at our fans for getting frustrated with Hazard and Cesc today. It was infuriating. He made it sound like our supporters were ungrateful assholes for having the audacity to be frustrated by Hazard.

Tony Gale. 277 appearances for Fulham and 300 appearances for West Ham. He's completely unable to be unbiased. It's been happening for years and it seems like he's always commentating on our matches.

Yep. Can't stand him. He's always so obviously biased when he does our matches and drools over players who do well against us.

Useless discussion whether or not he can/should be criticized...  He's not a robot, so also can have very bad games.

Our biggest problem is that when Hazard has an off-day... there is no one to push us forward and step up! We're **** Chelsea. We can never be so dependent on one guy!

Tbf our home support is pretty shit. Our away support is great. Win lose they always sing and always support the team. You rarely hear moans or groans from them.

Even when we're winning our home support is mostly quiet. I thought the moans and groans also started really early. Like from minute 10 they were already moaning and groaning about everything.
