I doubt arsenal can even win stoke city, more likely get trash by stoke.

^^+1

People complained when Chels drew vs Stoke this season & last season, but Stoke are very well organized & have that ruff style of play/player that gives the current le arse sides fits. Maybe we should change the name of the thread to "How long will le voyeur last @ emirates?" The deathwatch has already been started. I am thinking that European footie will be a thorn for this side. They will need to concentrate on League footie only. le arse = River Plate

The only question is, will the fans burn the stadium?? After the scenes from a couple of weeks ago, I think we might see similar scenes in N. London if le arse gets relegated as we saw in Buenos Aires when River went down. For me, that will be good TV ;)

A priceless quote from Arsenal forum :toke:

The Jury wrote:

I've got to say too, that the scoreline was flattering. The defending was attrocious for all bar the two great Rooney free-kicks, and one of them was a penalty.

Even with the shyte we had on the pitch, I didn't think we were out-played.

Fabregas must be so glad he's moved! Probably wondering seeing as now won 2 trophies in about 2 weeks why didnt do it sooner!!...and judging by Arsenal fans reaction to the team before the game they knew they were gana get beat..maybe not so much but didnt seem happy with the line up..and shown very quickly why

Seeing as after Wednesday the press and people going on about a comeback...woops!!!

8-2...thats embrassing...and seriously hope we dont have a mental game like that against Man U,City or anyone

I think that is probably Arsenals heaviest defeat in their history

Record defeats

[edit]By competition

NB Unusually, Arsenal were forced to play two matches on the same day on 12 December 1896; while the first team took on Loughborough in the League, the reserves played Leyton in the FA Cup. The irony is that the reserves won handsomely, 5-0 , whilst the seniors suffered Arsenal's record League defeat. Additionally, Arsenal lost 9-0 to Chelsea in a wartime London Combination match on 21 April 1916, but this is not counted as an official first-class match.

There you go! Doubt they've ever conceded 8 in a top flight game. We did batter them 9-0 though so we're still better than those bloody mancs.

Oh and by the way people our biggest defeat ever? Record defeat – 1-8 v. Wolverhampton Wanderers, First Division, 26 September 1953. Oh dear Arsenal.
