very sad news, i was really hoping it dindn’t have to come to this, but Roman’s Chelsea era is over, i don’t know how to feel about this, i feel down, its surreal. This man has done everything possible for the club, very passionate and comitted owner who always had the club’s best interest at heart, he invested so much in this club, infrastructures, academy, players, staff, etc. made this club very successful, a force to be reckoned with and reach the very top of football. We as fans can only be eternally grateful to Roman for everything he has done for Chelsea and wish him all the best in the future. Let’s just pray that whoever takes over next is as passionate and comitted as Roman was. Cheers everyone

Also, is no one commenting on the poetry in motion?

The last trophy won under the Roman era was the club world cup, to finally complete the set. The only one missing from the list.

The first trophy we won under Roman is the league cup in 2005 against Liverpool.

And, in the seemingly the last trophy competed for under the Roman era, we lost the league cup final, against the same opponents.,Liverpool.

Also...reading that one line from his statement on the club website is saddening.

I hope that I will be able to visit Stamford Bridge one last time to say goodbye to all of you in person. It has been a privilege of a lifetime to be part of Chelsea FC and I am proud of all our joint achievements. Chelsea Football Club and its supporters will always be in my heart.

Roman and most wealthy Ukrainian Rinat Akhmetov are great friends. He has 7.5 billions. Owner of Shakhtar. Also loves football. Would be great owner. But needs to sell them first.

Roman fidgeting in his seat in our CL final in Munich, shows how much of a fan he was, how much he cared and wanted us to suceed. Could not ask for a better owner. United, Pool, Ars would give you an arm and a leg for an owner like Roman. Ngl makes me sad writing this.

It's hard to be excited over Americans at the helm when basing judgment on United and Arsenals ongoings. Mind you, Liverpool are owned by Americans I think and they do well.

Liverpool fans seem to moan about them nearly as much as United and Arsenal do and are regularly critical of a lack of investment in the team.

Liverpool get by because of the management structure, Klopp and their recruiting team.

Which is why I'm not too worried. Yet.

As long as Buck and/or Marina & Cech are retained in some capacity., and obviously Tuchel, we should be okay in the short term.

The other aspect is contract negotiations. I hope whoever comes in doesn't fuck around and let players go without knowing their standing in the team.

In short, I just hope we maintain status quo. Retain Connor Gallagher. 

Not even thinking of transfers for next season.

There is also a young Egyptian Loutfy Mansour who lives in London. He runs the investment arm of his dad's conglomerate and is reportedly a season ticket holder
