Here are some of the key points from the special licence put in place by the government:

  • Chelsea are able to pay the wages of all employees, including players and coaching staff.
  •
  • They can pay "reasonable" costs of travel to and from fixtures but not exceeding £20,000 per game per team.
  •
  • Pay "reasonable" costs towards hosting home fixtures, not exceeding £500,000 per fixture per team.
  •
  • Fans who bought season tickets or individual match tickets before 10 March 2022 can attend games.
  •
  • Broadcasters can broadcast any fixture involving the club.

Tory b***dy government broke all records in racism by not taking Ukrainian refugees.
Because you cannot call racists the few loonies up and around who sport Hitler flags and ignore Johnson and his cronies who are a government party.
We 've seen this before from the Tories:

Ugandan Asians - prompted Enoch's "rivers of blood" speech
Vietnamese boat people - the Tories were furious with the Wilson government
40 (!) Croatian refugees when John Major was pm - the party grassroots revolted

And all those refugees were allies !

Now by way of diversion they are punishing Chelsea football club, when in fact the club have announced that Roman Abramovitch will
not continue.
Never in history has Britain been brought to shame like that,

With only limited information but from what it appears the club can only continue paying wages and fulfilling fixtures through our cash reserves as any incoming revenue will be frozen. No idea what that might be (hopefully Roman has kept them well stocked in case of this possibility).

But the longer this drags on, there's a very real chance the club could go into an administration scenario.

I guess the hope will be that some sort of agreement can be made to allow the club to still be sold and then the sale proceeds of the club can be frozen for the time being.

So the UK government will destroy an entire club from top to bottom because of 1 man. The tens of millions of supporters, the players, the staff, the coaches. All totally innocent and they get to watch as their club is destroyed.

Today’s sanctions against Roman Abramovich and the licence that’s been drawn up for Chelsea does, at the moment, halt any prospect of a sale.

However, the BBC understands that the government is open in the future to considering a licence that would permit the sale of the club, but that would have conditions so that the proceeds would not be able to go to Abramovich.

This is because they think the viability of the club is potentially best served if it is sold.

So this means then what ?
The club is dissolved ? Then it must be appropriated by the state.
So we are the government's team ?
Do you know of any historical precedents ? Involving factories, houses, anything.
