KingEssien 127
I agree, seriously don't understand the hype with Fellaini. Not a great tackler, passer, or good at reading the game, and for such a big guy he ain't too good at headers either! Seriously don't understand it, I think the maximum of his potential is to go somewhere like Tottenham, never a Chelsea player in my eyes.
themightyblue 443
Who said anything about Fifa? And how are you sure we won't sell both? If they don't feature in our plans there'll be off. I find it telling how we've been linked with Fellaini, Witsel, Garcia, Mulumbu, Tiote and Modric who all play in that position, so its not wide of the mark to think this isn't possible

I'm wondering if you ever seen him play more than 2 games. Not a great tackler: Fellaini was this seasons EPL best tackler with 82 tackles won... leaving Moussa Dembele, Joe Allen, Scot Parker, Lucas Leiva, Yohan Cabaye & Cheik Tioté behind him.Not a great passer: He completed 1231 out of 1500 => percentage of 79,4%. Considering the fact that Moyes has used him in a variety of positions... I say: good job!Not a good header: He won more that 88,3% of his aerial duels this season... far more than ANY CB in the league. It's not that I don't like your opinion... but I think I'll go for the statistics on this one. I start to think that you dislike him just because there clearly is going something on in his 'fro

Wavy Crockett 190
not sure I rate Fellaini but definitely think Mikel should be sold because he has a decent market valueI don't know if there will be many good DMs on the market this summer though.. Atholy 1,293
You know Fellaini is just the type of guy... You get really angry with the central defenders on your team because they're having a really bad game and nothing is going well!Seriously... the amount of defensive work this guys does in midfield is just massive. With a player like him in their back... Hazard, Mata, Ramires, KDB easily can lift their game to a higher level. "No worries... the big guy covers your back!"But I understand this is something mostly seen by scouts and managers... not so much by the normal football fans. Leif 6,006
Sell Mikel for £10-20mil (depends who's willing to buy). Sign Diame for free. Rotate Diame and Romeu. Sorted.
Kojo 4,676
Haha. I think I heard that before, didn't I Sloth ?Probably lol, i think Fellaini is a good player mind, but if we are looking for a DM, it must be Tiote.
Atholy 1,293
I would say they are both really good players! But I'm afraid that actually none of them will come to us...Well we still have Romeu, Mikel & Essien!!

Hamilton 2,120
Fellaini would be cheaper i guess..His game looks boring, but he can be so important and makes live easier for some of his teammates..

I start to think that you dislike him just because there clearly is going something on in his 'fro statistics can be so skewed...best tackler in terms of numbers but what about accuracy? whenever I see him play he tends to foul quite a lot... 79% isn't great passing in my opinion at all it should be 90+ for a CM/CDM, otherwise it's a bad day..and he may have won 88% of headers but you have to remember they are mainly from midfield/goal kicks and not many midfielders can out jump him! I meant in an attacking sense...I love Belgium players but Fellaini does nothing for me at all. Incredibly over-hyped. Where did you get your info/stats from by the way? We Hate Scouse 10,327
But I have found this: http://www.rtbf.be/sport/football/etranger/angleterre/detail_fellaini-futur-equipier-d-hazard?id=7778506According to Le Soir, Chelsea would draw another Red Devil in the person of Marouane Fellaini. Lukaku could be involved in the transaction as a two-year loan at Everton.Chelsea wants to lease the former Anderlecht striker and if possible in the Premier League so that it takes its bearings in this championship. Everton would therefore be agreat opportunity for Lukaku but for Chelsea who would benefit from home to attract one of the stars of Everton, namely Marouane Fellaini. After Lukaku, Thibaut Courtois, Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard, Marouane Fellainicould be the fifth Red Devil to join the European champions title. For its part, Fellaini was content to tell the newspaper Le Soir that he was not aware ofthe interest of Chelsea. Fellaini (24 years) moving to Everton since 2008.
