I was just as shocked when I saw it. The criteria for qualifying is clearly flawed in some way.

Edit: Having looked into it a bit, outside of those who already qualified, Salzburg earned the most points over the last four years (there's a limit of two clubs per nation).

I guess Haaland's last season there played a big part.

A mix up gifted them an equaliser late on to take it to ET.

I wouldn't write Liverpool off just yet. They had plenty of chances in the first leg, which unfortunately (for them) fell to Nunez.
