No team nor player has yet played outside FIFA/UEFA governed match, so they can't do shit and if they will, they will be sued to death, nothing more to it.

Funny how every fan know how rotten those organisations are yet most of people are eager to defend them in what is clearly theatrical war for cash and power.

True but what is the best way to hurt a clubs owners than kick them out a competition that if they win they get a 100m prize from?

Aye it is not fair on fans or players but shouldn’t clubs owners not have thought about this before agreeing to it? When it was obviously going to be objected to? Thats why fans and players should be going to clubs and asking what the fuck is going on?

There can be no half measures. Even the stripping titles point Gary Neville made yesterday. They should consider it. Send a message. No club or collection of clubs is bigger than FIFA, UEFA or their domestic leagues.

If they are talking about sending an instant message its the only way. If they back down now people will just do what they want cause they can get away with it.

I don't have any ideas right now but since these owners just went ahead and agreed to this, how much do you think they really care about getting kicked out this season?

What I just DO NOT agree is UEFA trying to punish those guilty by punishing through those that aren't guilty at all. It's just not fucking fair!

Not much they can say really. Would love to hear their real feelings lol. Trying to make it clear without saying to much

Quite telling how none of the billionaire owners have come out to explain how wonderful their idea is for football ? And not just about them getting richer ??

Theyre spineless snakes, I include Abramovich in that category. Come on, speak publicly about your wonderful plan. They cant because its just greed.

Breach of contract, they can ban us from next season though......though at this point of time I dont think uefa gives a rats ass

3 minutes ago, OneMoSalah said:

And FIFA, UEFA etc can surely also sue the clubs no? Any club who does get kicked out has a real cheek to sue them for this. They made their bed the minute they put their name to this idea, they have to lie in it now. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs a reality check

Sue the clubs why? The remaining clubs have a contract to fulfil and so do uefa. If they throw us out we will win the battle in court. Whether its right or wrong is another matter.

Well, you have Florentino Perez coming out later in Spain to speak about this.

But otherwise yeah, they're fucking spineless. They agreed to the decision and then left the manager and players hanging in the media, when they weren't even part of the decision making process.

I think they should take us Real and City out and put the likes of Porto through, Dortmund through and make Leipzig/Atalanta play and put one of them through as they played against Liverpool and Madrid. It would send a message.

People may think is a bit ridiculous but they have to send a message.

There are also rumours we and City are looking at a way out if it already, due to the backlash from all the governing bodies and fans etc but honestly, thats even worse than joining it in the first place due to fear of missing out/being left behind. Knowing it wasn’t the right thing to do by the fans and jumping in to it with reservations is an absolute embarrassment and everyone one of them should be sacked.

Nothing wrong in making a massive U-turn when you realise you've made such a bad/wrong call on something.

Someone with legal expertise will know better but can UEFA even legally kick out the 5 clubs now when that Super League hasn't even happened? Hasn't it all just been proposal right now? No Super League matches have even taken place yet, the players haven't played one such game yet and heck, I don't even think the players have signed any contract related to the Super League.

Klopp did said something interesting, UEFA and FIFA are also about money.

They are jamming the clubs with more fixtures, and expanding the Club world cup for more games because of money.

Element of truth there.

The Premier League has that 'fit and proper person' test for owners. Reality is they let anyone buy a club if they have the millions, because theyre about money too.

Its a cliche, but these cunts forget they'd be nothing without the original turnstile fans

Of course they can't. It's possible to make a looooong stretch and try to excuse it with "damaging reputation" or something, but it's a long shot and long legal battle, that would be hard to win by uefa and would have terrible PR effect, not only because lack of top clubs, but also this juxtaposed with their blindness to city/psg ffp breaches would be stinky.

I really hope this becomes the case. Especially when feelings have been made so clear. Not that doubt they care but be nice to think they do a bit

The funny thing about this is, the revamped Champions League isn't any better than the Super League proposal. It's very similar or if not, worse. It practically also looks to protect the interest of the big clubs.

And Micah Richards was just saying on BBC Live earlier, when it comes to racism, UEFA usually dilly-dally over it but when it comes to this, when it comes to money, there's suddenly a huge uproar and UEFA want firm action ASAP.

What I just DO NOT agree is UEFA trying to punish those guilty by punishing through those that aren't guilty at all. It's just not fucking fair!

But these players are part of these clubs owned by these owners. You cannot just punish the owners, it maybe isn’t fair on players or fans but its half a message if they say only fined the clubs. I mean, cmon they are all getting €3.5 billion between them for joining this super league and are owned by multi billionaire owners/organisations who have went against their initial promise of developing and restructuring the CL. A fine will be nothing and if they were to make it more severe like the €60 billion figure UEFA are seeming against them which has been mentioned by various outlets, it will go to court and be knocked down to a lesser fee thus doing nothing again. Fines alone are not going to do anything. Will have the same effect of UEFA fining clubs when they are involved with racist incidents, it does nothing. They need to be stern.

Players aren’t directly guilty but kicking them out then means clubs have to explain themselves/deal with the coaches or players who weren’t consulted or probably don’t support it, which they should do. This decisions made did not take their work into account or what it could do. These 12 clubs deserve everything they get and if they kick us, City and Real out, which for the good of football I hope they do, then these greedy owners are the ones who will have millions of questions to answers from fans and players alike.

You said about fairness. Is it fair these clubs want to break up 3 huge domestic leagues? Which will have huge effects on clubs through their football pyramids in several countries? In a pandemic when clubs are going bust? Nothing is fair in this. But UEFA, FIFA, footballing associations for Spain, England and Italy, they have to be strong. If they kick us out nobody can complain. It will have deservedly been brought on by the owners.

No but they jumped into it out of fear of being left behind despite having initial concerns of it. Its embarrassing and backtracking wont improve their public image or how fans feel about it. If fans were ok with it, they would go ahead with it 100%, despite it still being incredibly wrong. They should have known but they didnt. Theres no excuses for everyone involved in the decision making progress and they should be held accountable for their actions, Roman included.

For sure, lets have it right yeah, Uefa and fifa are proven corrupt, money hungry entity. Also why they have threatened the players etc.

Yes they can but if we take them to court they will 100% lose

The Super League isn't about fairness. That's bloody obvious. But punishing the owners through innocent parties like the players, coaching staff etc is not fucking fair. Yes, players are part of those clubs but they did not sign up for this when they signed their contract however long ago and I'm god damn sure they haven't signed any amended contract either.

Do you really think the owners will have to care about explaining to the players, coaching staff? Yeah, they will just do their BS talking bla bla bla and then what we will have is a huge group of unhappy individuals.
