Congratulations to the glorified Tony Pulis on beating a bunch of 20 year olds while playing beautiful, free flowing attacking football. Loved the celebrations too, definitely a trophy Mourinho craved for and always talked highly about.

For all his faults and crap..still capable of winning Finals/trophies..shame but not unexpected..be annoying if they win the super cup seeing as we tried twice in a row and failed..

I understand money is a factor but it's not the be all and end all, is it? There are still other things that have to be taken into consideration - e.g. getting sufficient game time, style of play, manager, competing for trophies. On top of that, how many players can United really spend big money on anyway? Even with seemingly endless supply of money, there's only so many players they can buy and let's not forget their squad is bloated right now. They can't possibly fit everyone into the team. And for the record, that GIF was a reply to you mentioning that same old concern in like the entire forum!

Had they made the top four, I'd have been fully behind a United win tonight. As they did not however, Chelsea had something to loose from a United victory so I was backing Ajax. Ho hum, we don't always get what we want.

Only upside for me is that Jose has won another trophy. Pleased for The Special One.
