DYC. 7,542
He could plays in Rooney's role but the problem with that is that it is Rooney's. He can't play in the Midfield pivot as he would neglect his defensive duties too much. I guess that leaves the wings which are already packed right now.Rooney moving to CF with Kagawa taking over Rooney's current role would make Utd stronger.Unless we actually strengthen our squad with some quality players, I hope he doesn't join them. Mata plays in his position so I don't see him joining us.

Mata plays in his position so I don't see him joining us.Firstly i can't see united moving rooney up front, his best position seems to be that deeper role where he can get involved.Secondly he could play with mata in a 4-2-3-1 formation. With the right players the '3' could be a fluid unit, moving positions and roaming regularly between eachother, particularly if we plan to play more expansive next season. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I have also heard from a Japanese TV that after the DFB Pokal this Saturday, Kagawa will announce his transfer to United.Where will he play? On the wings? Rooney's position? Poor move from a promising player.
manpe 10,861
Not to worry, we will try to sign him in 4 years for 40 million. If we succeed, then it could be thought of as an expensive loan deal. He's ours!

Justin_3d 1,140
so he is only going to start against City? What you talking about, Park was a beast in his first couple of years. Was always a big time player.I remember those important goals against Arsenal in the CL.Kagawa will be even better then that.United are doing good business. This shows the folly of people thinking that United will go down easily and let City rule.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
United are doing good business. We should learn something from them. We should have gone for Kagawa rather than Marin.
Spike 12,049
I must speak frankly Mr Shankly, the position he plays in will be a sickening wreck at United.
communicate 2,703
,Really impressed with his game against bayern, unluckily he plays the same position as mata
Superblue 6,372
He decimated bayern tonight. He plays in the same side as gotze, i'm sure he could play with and complement mata successfully.
manpe 10,861
I'm afraid he's off to United with Ferguson being there in person and with his heavy links to them. It will be good to see him in the prem, but bad that he will benefit manu, not us. He really impressed me.
capriccioso 2,545
We've missed the boat with him. Unless we are on a massive wind up with Man United and sign him literally moments before he completes his medical at Old Trafford. What scenes that would create
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
We better sign someone better than Kagawa than. The only good news is that of all the teams he chose ManUre. He won't excel their IMO.
capriccioso 2,545
Why not? The cycnics will say he's just a signing like Dong Fangzhou and Park in that he's only been signed to raise awareness in Asia.

BleedsBlue 1,549
The club is asking for 7m,I say get him for 20m.The man is a class player and we need someone like him.
nyikolajevics 2,707
I think he will play for MU next season. Park will leave Manchester, and they need an asian player to have as much fan in Asia as they have now. And unfortunately, it's going to be a good buisness for them, because they will buy Kagawa very cheap, and he is a quality player. Yesterday showed it against Bayern München.
