Can't believe it. We completely dominated them in the 2nd half until their goal. They looked LOST. But thanks to schoolboy defending by Cole, Luiz and Cech, we've lost this.

For their third, I personally place the most blame on Cole. Yes, both Luiz and Cech's defending was a joke. But Cole's defending was a DISGRACE. He was practically in line with cavani when the ball was played over the top. Yet he didn't give a fuck and let him run past. Fucking liability.

Well after that we totally lost whatever foothold we had in the game. Couldn't put 5 decent passes together.

Tactics-wise, we werent that bad. Individuals let AVB and the team down.

We still CAN win this tie, but it's going to take something very very special indeed.

I don't see how people are blaming AVB. We played very good and we on their ass for most of the game, other than the first 10 or so minutes. We lost because of ridiculous individual mistakes which if the player himself isn't taking responsibility of then you'll be firing managers everyday.

Our team is embarrassing it really is.

We can't defend, or attack, at least Arsenal can attack when they can't defend, and at least Liverpool can defend well even though they can't score. We however are a joke who can't do either, it was about quality tonight i thought, if we had it and produced better crosses passes would of been a different score but whatever we don't need new signings our team is great, it's just a mental problem.

To be fair Napoli deserved there win, they were clearly the better team throughout the whole game and we have it all to do from here on.

Bitter and embarrassing defeat, but it could've been worse, look at Arsenal. We could've easily conceded 5 or more in this game.

I am not optimistic at all about the second leg though, for 2 main reasons:

1) We can't score

2) The Lavezzi - Cavani duo will be impossible to prevent from scoring

2-0 will be impossible, if we're being realistic. And in all likelihood Roman will sack AVB and we will be left with a rubbish coach for the rest of the season. How depressing.

3rd goal looked like offside, alo Gargano played with hands in penalty area and yes we played very well. They couldn't even run with us until 3rd goal.

I feel so, so sad.

I have tickets for two of our next three matches, but I'm not going to them. I'm so angry, disappointed and disillusioned by this fucking woeful excuse of a 'team'. I feel like not bothering for the rest of the season, I really do. Can't be fucked with this any more.

You are the first to talk about AVB, it means you believe he is to blame but is already making excuses for yourself.
