He did show some good movement for that goal he scored in pre-season but other than that I thought he looked quite uncomfortable, he lost the ball a lot. He still has a lot of potential as a playmaker/second striker IMO, so I'd be fine with him staying there, but I guess I'm just intrigued to how he'd do if he was a bit more direct out-wide.

He certainly has the dribbling skills for the wing and to some extent the pace but the issue seems to be that his instinct is to always cut inside. I'm more a fan of old-fashioned wingers who stay wide and put in crosses.

Starting a game and getting 80 minutes is great for his development and apparently he's done enough to get another chance soon. By my count that's EIGHT promising youngsters out on great loans, which is remarkable work by the board.

The loan made complete sense. He was getting no time at Chelsea and is going to get games in Spain. The loan policy has worked very well this year but...the board still screwed up by not ensuring that we have enough players actually at Chelsea. How we started the season with one striker and no real central midfielders is beyond me.

I do not agree that one start makes this loan correct. McEachran in his early days had one start. He did quite well. Made a great chance for Danny Grahan, and then was on the bench for the rest of the season. Kakuta and PVA also started their first 1-2 games for Fulham and Bolton, Wigan for PVA, then also did not get a look in. Remains to be seen how they use Piazon - but I still do not think they will use him anymore than we would have, while we're playing 2 games a week and had all those players injured/suspended.

Good to see Lucas getting some minutes. Looked like he had an excellent game at the weekend, and got a brief appearance in the CL against Porto. Fantastic to see his career progressing.

Watched Porto Malaga, didn't get much of a chance to create very much. Porto had a lot of the ball, good to see him get minutes though.

He got 10 mins in the CL during which Malaga barely had the ball outside their half. But it is interesting to note that he played up front in a 4-4-2 rather than on the wing.

Yes I saw him play more as a AM - Pellegrini brought him in for the energy, but to no avail - Porto was able to secure the win, but only one goal - the next leg will decide this CL tie

So thats me watching the milan derby then.Btw this is just what i expected despite piazon's good performance last week he still sits on the bench.I really would have liked us to loan him to a smaller club then malaga.
