Instead Kai Havertz who was supposed to play this role has been relegated to passing to James to put in crosses into the team. We actually have two goalscoring midfield in our team, mount and Havertz. Both are excellent at attacking the box, the problem is something need to give. You can't have everyone attacking the box. Anything less and the boot beckons. Because we could end up 11th if results don't go our way. And damn close to Arsenal. If we dare swap places with Arsenal, gosh...maybe Arteta IS better than Lampard. Did you just say dominate city? 11Drogba

Giroud would be a bad choice against Man City I think, even though his size might be a factor. Both Pulisic and Werner should start besides Ziyech, if he finally is fit to play [emoji849]Gesendet von meinem VOG-L29 mit Tapatalk

You can't call their defence garbage and then turn around to say that. And if you're gonna devalue their clean sheets because they didn't play good teams, then are you gonna do the same for our clean sheets this season? MoroccanBlue 5,381
Romano saying the club are sticking with Lampard. So we can expect him to steer this ship the next couple weeks (should the City game be called off too). That said, I would still give him a points target for the next 6 games. Yeah dont take that statement as the end of be all. We said the same regarding JM and 3 weeks later he was gone. If results and most importantly the shallow performances continue then that war axe will cut him in half.

I always support us to win on a game by game basis, but I'm also a long term thinker. If we win against city by accident, it'll just cover up the cracks for the inevitable which I think some of you "real" fans are missing? DDA 9,938
The forum may laugh at me but I tell you who could be a good shout... Steven Gerrard. He is working wonders with Rangers. I know the Scottish league isn't the same level as the Prem but he us holding his own in Europe too. My mate who is a Rangers fan (maybe a bit bias) says he has then playing top football and he will be a top manager in the future. He knows his stuff too. Could be a wild card... but risky after already using the wild card on Frank.
