I've got the feeling we're going to get one more big signing before the end of the window.

Unfortunately it won't be Pogba, Juventus said today him and Vidal won't move unless 'they ask to be sold'.

Roma are set to announce Iturbe for 25m and probably they're going to raise money by selling Benatia (i'd prefer to give Zouma a chance). It might be one between him, Cavani or Kedhira.

If we won't get Pogba or Vidal and goes between those two i would get Cavani to be honest. 2 great strikers would be normal for a top team like us.

We have got the NECESSARY signings. We can go into the season with the players available to us right now. As for a marquee signing it would depend on which player we sell to make space for the marquee signing.

If we buy tiago, don't see us buying Vidal/pogba unless selling Rambo.

I am of a strong opinion that Mikel should be sold as early as possible and these are the reasons:

1. He has not improve since he joined the club about 8 years ago, despite having chance upon chance under different managers. Any other club would have sold him long ago.

2. There is a negative observation i have made about all Mikel's competitions within the team, and that observation is that, the players who seem to compete with him for play time strangely pick up long term injuries. Essien had two long term injuries, Romeo sidelined just as he was being picked regularly and MVG had his in his first season. If Mikel stays we shall have another injury to one of the midfielders, and that is how he get his playing time. You may think this is hilarious, but my friends, don't underestimate the ancient African "ways and means" of doing things

Are you suggesting that Mikel is hurting players to get playing time? hahhahahaa

I still support the signing of Tiago. I like the blend of skill and power he'd bring to the team. Not of the highest level of course but more than good enough as a squad player. Not to mention his capability of playing both DM and CM. He could be very valuable to the team for one or two years. Being able to bring in a player like Tiago in case of injury/suspension/rotation is far more comforting than bringing in Ramires or Mikel imo. Ideally, one of Ramires or Mikel would be sold with Tiago coming in.

I personally think Van Ginkel should be loaned out. Don't think he's at that level to play plenty of football at Chelsea yet, especially after his injury. And he should be playing on a weekly basis for his development, as he certainly does have potential. It would be a real shame for him to end the season with only a handful starts.

Agree with Tiago part, but I don't think with Tiago coming, it will make one of Mikel or Ramires should go. Squad depth, and we could easily change our formation to 433 anytime. Fabregas could play as AMC too, so basically 5 players for pivot is good and healthy.

About Van Ginkel, I think we should see how he perform in preseason first before making any judgement.

If Thiago is as you say why didnt we kept Lampard makes no sense..

Lampard is 36, Tiago is 33. One year contract for Tiago is understandable, remember he still play well in CL semis and final not so long ago.

Fabregas, Costa, and Luis so far. If Ba is going I think Lukaku will stay. We will still have a strikeforce of 3; Torres, Costa and Lukaku, so I don't think we will buy another forward.

One more signing this summer I reckon, depending how the market develops. If we sell Mikel/Ramires for exp.

Lukaku could still go. Bamford could be a 3rd striker.

Disingenuous?

You might actually want to check and calculate properly Khedira's appearances in all competitions under Mourinho first before you start calling others disingenuous. It's kinda ironic you claimed to watch all of Mourinho's games 'religiously' and yet said Khedria is not a starter under him? That's quite funny really.

Hmn In all competitions. I'm glad you have a sense of humor. You mean first, second round FA cups and other non league miscellaneous games qualifies him as a starter? Lol. If he is a starter then what are Alonso, Ramos? etc., If we were to equate it to Chelsea starters where each player stands a chance of playing 65+ games per season, Counting every game that Real might play in a season, does his stats even at a generous 40 games per my colleague here, qualify him as a regular starter. So since you are so inclined to comedic-ally insinuate the league stats are otherwise, Why don't you do us all a favor and prove your point here with facts and data. We are eagerly waiting. A guy plays 52.63% of league games per season on his best year and he's a starter. Hahahahahaha.

dude, what are u going on about?

in 2010-11, these are the playtime stats

alonso :

es1.pngLa Liga 34 - 6 12 - - 2.665'

cl.pngChampions League 11 - - 3 1 - 963'

cdr.pngCopa del Rey 7 1 - 3 - - 616'

total: 2011: 52 1 6 18 1 - 4.244'

khedira :

es1.pngLa Liga 25 - 1 7 - - 1.833'

cl.pngChampions League 8 - 1 - - - 667'

cdr.pngCopa del Rey 7 - 1 1 - - 573'

total: 2011: 40 - 3 8 - - 3.073'

diarra :

es1.pngLa Liga 26 - 1 11 - - 1.730'

cl.pngChampions League 9 - 1 2 - - 491'

cdr.pngCopa del Rey 3 - 1 1 - -146'

total: 2011: 38 - 3 14 - - 2.367'

granero played a total of 1359 minutes while gago played 210 minutes.

so khedira was the DM who started the most alongside alonso.

in 2011-12:

alonso played - 4694 minutes

khedira played - 3073 minutes

diarra played - 1692 minutes

granero played - 1069 minutes

sahin played - 656 minutes

in 2012-13:

alonso - 3979 minutes

khedira - 3412 minutes

modric - 3330 minutes

still more minutes than modric on the pitch and whatmore, after alonso, ramos, CR and ozil, khedira was the player with the most playtime. (pepe was almost equal at 3415 minutes).

so how exactly are u saying that khedira was not a regular starter at RM under jose?

We only needed a top striker and a good cm last season to win.

We have it, and we expect progress not regression.

What will be disappointing is if we get lower than 86points. If we get 87points and don't win the title, then our rivals were just that good.

Sense of humour? First and second round FA Cups?? Inclined to comedic-ally insinuate the league stats??? Prove your point here with facts and data????

You are completely BS-ing crap that I didn't even intend to have in the first place. And that bit of proving my point with facts and data, well if those stats and facts I mentioned isn't 'facts and data' to you, then I don't know what is. Then again, anyone who had actually watched Real Madrid under Mourinho would know the situation with Khedira anyway.

And judging by how you have gone on and on and on, it just feels like...
