BlueLyon 9,359
What? Debuchy is fine fullback. One of best in PL and did well in WC. But still surprised they havent bought Aurier after all those rumours and good WC games. Joker10
Pizy 18,993
What? Debuchy is fine fullback. One of best in PL and did well in WC. But still surprised they havent bought Aurier after all those rumours and good WC games. He's not even better than Sagna who he'd be replacing. Good player but not an elite player. That being said, if Arse manage to get Debuchy, Sanchez, a striker, and a decent DM then they should be right up there challenging for the title. At least until their annual injury epidemic or collapse.----------Giroud----------Alexis----Özil----Walcott---Ramsey---New DM---Gibbs-Kosielny-Mert-Debuchy-----------Szszsz------------That's a pretty nice XI. Still fancy ourselves and City over that, though. Looks like a normal Arse side that'll be bullied by more athletic and physical sides. A side much like last seasons where they'll steam roll the small teams and lose most of the big matches. Alexis would be a genuinely excellent signing. thedrog108 39
If serge aurier had chosen france instead of ivory coast for the WC, Debuchy would never play for arsenal.Average player. The Skipper

But still surprised they havent bought Aurier after all those rumours and good WC games.coleman, iva, zabaleta, sagna, clyne.5 right backs were EASILY better than debuchy last season, so how was he one of the best?the worst thing is that he is not even as good as the player he is replacing (sagna) in an already weak back line which just makes it an even poorer transfer. but well what can one expect from arsenal. Joker10 946
Seems like Illarramendi will be made available. I would take him here, since he will most likely go at a cut-price. Mufassir08
lionsden 4,689
Wait, £20m for Lovren?! Wow, are those scousers really that stupid? He was one of the best defenders in the league lasts season. The only reason the valuation might be questioned is because he hasn't proven he's not just a one season wonder otherwise if he carries his form into the new season then that £20m will be a mighty bargain. lionsden 4,689
18 mil for Lovren, are they mad?http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/9371534/transfer-news-liverpool-bid-dejan-lovren-rejected-by-southamptonHow much is a 25yo Croatian int'l and one of the best defenders in the league last season worth then? There's absolutely nothing outrageous about that. £50m for Luiz, £35 m for Andy carroll are what I call outrageous and not this one. BlueLyon 9,359
Arsenal needs a striker first to be even considered a danger next season.

Y123CFC 69
If we do need to bring in 1 or 2 older players for the experience, I would have liked Sneijder.Has looked better each game for Holland, really unlucky not to score today. And tbh I'm only saying this because he has been one of my favourite players of recent years outside of Chelsea. Not to mention how much he loves Mourinho.Having said that, it won't ever happen anyway seeing as we can get Tiago for free whereas Sneijder would probably be about £10m. iseah100 5,612
Interest in LayunLiverpool are keen on landing Mexico left-back Miguel Layun this summer, according to Fichajes. The 26-year-old - who can also play on the right - impressed for Miguel Herrera's men at the World Cup but his performances for Club America also attracted interest. And with the Reds in the market for a left-back, Layun has emerged as a surprise target. Inter Milan are also keen on the player, although his preference would be a switch to the Premier League. He'd be a good signing for them, and he'd be real cheap. Very well rounded left back with a rocket of a right foot. I think he'd fit in their system perfectly.http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfer-rumours-lucas-leiva-3814022#ixzz36eYgmJVh
