Since Luiz is now doing great at Cm/Dm, we might sign another CB like Papadopoulos.

Attack:

-Villa (loan till summer) / Llorente or high profile striker like Lewandowski, Falcao, Cavani

-Bony/Walcott - Danny's replacement

-maybe a winger instead of second striker Bale :)

Midfield(deep playmaker required):

-recall Essien

-Cabaye/Benat/Camacho/Pjanic/Sissoko

Defence:

-Papadopoulos

-keep A.Cole

Cabaye is injured so him transfering to any club is very unlikely.

I very much doubt we will land anyone like Falcao or Cavani in january.

What other likely options are there?

Wilfried Bony - Vitesse Arnhem is basically our bitch.

David Villa on loan - Problems at Barca and hasn't started since mid-November

Demba Ba - 7.5mil release clause

Darren Bent - Wants out

Theo Walcott - 6 months left on contract

Andre Schurrle - Long term Chelsea target

Luiz has shown we lack a deep lying playmaker, someone who can do good long passes.

I'd like to us recall De Bruyne as he has already done a good few assists and goals. Mikel offers us nothing going forward, fed with watching his wild shots, seriously how can you be a professional footballer and not hit the target?

That's why I've mentioned Camacho and Moutinho a lot in the past few weeks. A midfield of Cabaye, Camacho and Moutinho would be killer.

Dont think we'll play with a trio like that in midfield, but i very much like the idea of us buying Moutinho or Cabaye (i havent seen enough of Camacho to have an opinion). Actually David Villa+Mouthiho is a pair of players that with them i can realy see this team going to another level even this season, and maybe a team who could make a run towards United. But, Moutinho is very unlikely this window.

Moutinho is very unlikely this window.

Apparently he has a buyout clause of 28.5m so if we agree to pay that then its up to the player and us and with moutinho almost moving to spurs in the summer i think he wont say no to us even in january imo.

Cadena COPE is reporting that Chelsea and Sevilla have started negotiations regarding Álvaro Negredo.

Sevilla have got economical problems and their president, Del Nido said a while ago that they'll most likely be forced to sell in January.
