Reddish-Blue 2,702
He is really that good ? How about his play in the air, how strong is he ? Apparently we want to offer 15m€ to Augsburg for him.Very good player and he's not even 21 yet!Good in the air, one of the top 5 players in the Bundesliga in terms of tackles per game, good concentration at his age, has a willingness to get forward, seems to enjoy a challengeHe should only get better as he matures both physically and mentally
CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
^^Ake could be 2nd LB.I agree with Reus, though. Reus-Willian-Hazard w/ Costa up front would be fucking ruthless

JaKstone 307
i think jose will stick to his word about buying 1 maybe 2 additions to the squad, the rest will be replacements like 2nd GK for cech.. etc etc..i wanted a pogba/koke so that cesc could be shifted to no.10 but after watching willian playing as a no10, i am mesmerized. think we should go all out for a RW (reus). not greizemann not douglas costa but a proper world class goal scoring winger.i think luis will be sold. he is not what we want considering we want a defensive left back and give hazard the freedom to roam freely.outs - cech, luis, mikel,DD,ins - 2nd GK, 2nd LB, romeu/mvg(loan), bamford. plus an extra signing of reus. we should make it our top priority.Untill when are some gonna pretend Bamford will be with us next season? For his best development and one of the only chances he has to succed here he should go on loan in a PL team and have a good season.I agree with Reus coming but i think it would be a big mistake to go the next season without buying another very good CM. jernej93 569
What about Konoplyanka? Free transfer in the summer ... really tricky, fast player that is not lazy, he can defend. I was impressed with him in knockout stages of Europa League."My goal as a child was to play in England. The leagues are stronger and I still want to try my hand there." lucio
Clockwork 1,794
I don't think Mou will sign another CB, unless Varane becomes available. He seems pretty contempt about our CB situation, but Varane is the only player he would not pass on since he rates him so highly.Tbh CB situation is fine in the short term at least, with Terry, Cahill, and Zouma. AtlantaChelseaFan 7
We will buy another striker with Drogba leaving. Hopefully Zlatan.Am I the only person who thinks (fears) that Diego's hammy is a long term (forever?) nagging injury? I worry that he will miss substantial time next year. Would it be a good idea to sell him and get two strikers for next season? Am I nuts? Note - I really like Diego and hope he heals permanently. Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
I think Mourinho could want Schneiderlin (or another player with similar attributes) so he could play him next to Matic and Cesc in some games like he did with Ramires a lot. While he can also be Matic's back up.He loves Ramires.

Yes, we need to preparing for the worst, always. But no need to sell Costa of course. Just buy another experienced 3rd striker will do. Bamford is close but I think he need one more year loan, this time to PL club.
RoyalBlues 4,050
With Fabregas, Matic, Ramires and RLC, don't think we will sign another MC. Better spent the additional money for a winger.

Pizy 19,379
If anyone thought Ivanovic would see his role in the side reduced next season they're kidding themselves. So long as he's fit he'll start every match next season again. He's undroppable just like Matic, Hazard, and JT. AtlantaChelseaFan, CMS and RoyalBlues
CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
Courtois (Cech cup keeper, Beeney 3rd choice) Ivanovic (Kalas; Azpi) Cahill (Zouma; Kalas) Terry (Kalas; Christensen) Azpi (Ake) Matic (2nd DM; Ake) Cesc (Schweinsteiger; RLC) Reus (Cuadrado; Oscar) Willian (Oscar; Cesc) Hazard (Willian; Cuadrado) Costa (Remy; Solanke/Bamford)Of course, on form Oscar could take Willian's place, or Zouma for Cahill.... etc etc.I agree that Ivanovic will not recieve reduced playing time on the right, however. He's still fantastic in position and when he's told to be a right back version of Dave he can do it happily. The only reason he won't play every minute next season at RB is if we get a huge spate of injuries at centre half or if he is injured, not to mention that in absence of Cech (if he stays) he will be the next captain in line with Terry. Our defence with no modifications is fine for the next season and potentially the season afterwards too, depending on how much longevity Terry has left in him. Schweinsteiger would be a fantastic backup or in a 4-3-3 partner to Cesc, and Bayern seem to be ready to be rid of him. didierforever
