Like I said earlier - I follow Sao Paulo, and have done for 6-7 years. So yes, I've seen around 50 or so matches of his.

The comparison to Walcott is stupid, he is by far more technically gifted then him. Only thing working for Walcott is his pace, Lucas is a lot more complete.

I am not sold on Lucas either, i would make the comparison to Angel Di Maria. A lot of ability and talent but awful decision maker. Lucas is only 19, if he improves his decision making and end product he will be world class.

Lucas is only 19. If he is smart, he will stay at santos for at least another year. You can't compete the brazilian League with the PL. Sure he has good skills, but so does Neymar and we saw what happen when they played against Barcelona. For now they are just talents and nothing more. I don't want to see him to become Robinho 2.0...

I disagree. If he makes the move this year or next he will still have to adapt from the Brazilian league to the PL. It depends more on his adaptability than his age. What's the point in him getting another year in Brazil and getting more comfortable with their style of football and then bringing him, than bringing him over now and nurturing him?

I just don't think, that he is ready for PL just now. In my opinion he is like Lucas Piazon. Maybe a little bit better with the skills, but still not ready for Chelsea. If we would sign him now than he has to gather experience at a smaller club.

Its a time to rebuild and moura/hazard are perfect for this project but we already have mata and there is no way we can endure another dreadful start to the season while we let these young guns adapt, I say we go for the more proven Hulks/Cavanis/Falcao's etc, instant bangs and they r still younger

£32 Million is too much for this Kid IMO. I hope the story is typical DailyMail garbage and that we are still going for Hazard.

Lucas is a great talent and has a lot of potential but 32M is wayyy too much. Hazard is way better than him imo.

Agree with every single word. Hazard seems more Talented and plays in a better league. I reckon Hazard would hit the ground running in the EPL (like Aguero has) whereas Lucas would take alot of time (more time than what Ramires has needed to adapt as Ramires is more built for the EPL while Lucas is not)
