Chelsea are interested in Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski, 29. Real Madrid are also considering signing the Pole. (Daily Star Sunday)

if it happens its safe to say he will more likely end up at Real, more chance to succeed there than at Chelsea to be honest, altough i would love to have him in our ranks, but Real have more lure and more Champions League aspirations than us, sad but true :(

Someone tell the board that he is 29 so they don't chase him all summer then find out on deadline day.

Nice try but you're late! :P

He turns 30 this year. So, can't wait for us to pursue all summer only to then realize his age and not offer more than 1 year+ contract and we end up signing some dud from Ligue 1.

From Madrid: Roman Abramovich makes Chelsea real contenders for surprise signing

http://sportwitness.co.uk/madrid-roman-abramovich-makes-chelsea-real-contenders-surprise-signing/

Hes getting on but Ibra was scoring well into his 30s.

And hes scored 40 this season with 2 assists. Depending on price he could be great to get us back on our feet for a few years.

true and looks like he's lost some pace, which he relies on since he's not the most powerful guy.

Only sign him if a good opportunity presents itself.

He's good but don't think he is as good as the hype. I mean sure, his goalscoring record is impressive but can hardly remember him being decisive - be it with his goals or performance or both - in the really big Champions League games. That Dortmund v Real game aside, can't think of any other game.

Past it or not, what people should see is that after pushing to Bayern move few years ago, realizing his dream move, now playing there for years, he looks like he couldnt give two shits and he probably doesnt.

Thiago, Kimmich, Alaba were seriously dissapointed and thats what you want from your team. Lewa went in this tie unsure if he should wear Bayern or Real shirt and the two performances show that. There was zero grit in him to win the game.

Dont forget he was pissed about teammates last year for not winning golden boot. Fits perfectly with Real

Still getting links with him. Gotta be a big step up on strikers we have!!

Well, yeah, but it would be pointless to sell Hazard and spend the whole money on Lewa. He won't be able to score a lot with mediocre players behind him like Senor Pedro. Keeping Eden and still getting Bobby would be huge though.

With us shifting Morata thats got us £60mill tho!
Hopefully. Would give us Bobby,Giroud and maybe Bats.

I can see Lewandowski going to City, unfortunately. With Griezmann looking nailed on for Barca and with Torres also leaving them they'll be after a forward. I read something not long ago about the possibility of Aguero returning there and can definitely picture that. Pep doesn't seem to fancy him as much as their previous managers have for some reason.

Pep has said as recently as a week or two that they "might" be in the market for a new forward. Probably replace Aguero with his former player Lewandowski.
