Told you guys since the 1st day Lukaka is just a freaking mercenary. Thank fuck we didn't get this rat in our team, imagine this guy getting angry our manager wants to bench him in 2-3 years because he is ain't so good and him throwing a tantrum. Also this donkey leading the line of a top club :D

Ain't got no spare time to do it myself, but I bet that if you would look in the Lukaku thread at RedCafe there is at least 20-25 people that three weeks ago were laughing at the prospect of Chelsea getting him, calling him different names, but now the exact same guys are creaming their pants over United's announcement.

A post with "then and now" comments would be glorious

Our board has seen sense at the last moment. Insane to let a player with his level of goalscoring potential join Mourinho and we just sit back and do nothing. Lukaku will easily eclipse Costa's goalscoring peaks for us. Under the guidance of Conte, he can become of one the best strikers in the world. He's just 24 and he's already one of the best in the league and I'm sure Conte will improve his work ethic for the cause.

I pulled this off the Guardian comments section:

From Whoscored (if you feel the statistics presented is not accurate, do crosscheck it yourself): Bad control per game (UnsTCh) index is headed by Zaha with 3.3 per game
Costa - 3.2
King - 2.8
Kane - 2.8
Januzaj - 2.8
Shaqiri - 2.7
Benteke - 2.6
Pogba - 2.6
Aguero - 2.5
Arnautovic - 2.5

Guess who is number 2. We watch him every week and we know how often he loses the ball with his poor control and the stats just happen to back that up. Lukaku with his "terrible touch" is not even in the top 10.

I will be honest. I am freaking out on what Lukaku will turn into under Mourinho. Other teams fans tell me how comfortable they were when Drogba left like how CR7 left and everyone was happy because they were a pain in the ass for every team they played. I somehow see that happening again under Morinho. All the best to lukaku.

Can't see Morata lead our attacking force with success.

Me too. he remind me of a torres. Maybe we will win the CL and EL when he comes but we will certainly sack Conte as well but for me its worth the gamble

To sum things up:

  • we totally fucked up a deal with a 23 year old potential EPL topscorer for many years to come AND who had a  ***** boyhood dream to play for us????!!!!!
  • we fucked up the relationship with our 1st striker that much that he's even willing to go to Madrid without playing for 5 months???!!!!
  • our second striker got like 34 minutes over the whole season and must feel very unwanted even though bought for €40 million!!!???

Is this a professional football club because these things above can actually only happen in an amateur league team ran by the local butcher and gardener????!!! :middlefinger::middlefinger: :middlefinger::middlefinger::middlefinger:

What will be the next move??? Offering €150 million for *** Harry Kane in a panic reaction???

AMATEURS!!!!!!!! :drunk:

If we lost out on some transformative player to them I'd be depressed, but I don't really see Lukaku in that way. If this was Alex Sandro who looked like he was coming here and then suddenly turned up in Manchester I'd be shitting it. But is going from one of the greatest strikers ever (who was scoring at an elite level still) in Zlatan to Lukaku an upgrade heading into next season?

Zlatan is miles and miles better technically that Rom is. So while Lukaku will surely score plenty of goals for them, I predict a lot of frustration when he's off form. Awful touch, losing the ball a lot, pretty lazy at times, and when he's having a poor game he's really poor. Zlatan could pull a moment of magic out of nothing even when playing badly. Not sure Lukaku will do that.

For me i think chelsea should just go and buy Giroud and Llorente or strikers of that caliber. We can manage for 2 season with them. they we go all out for Harry kane next 2 years. I could see Kane going to Man Utd but now that they have signed Lukaku, Kane will have to think of going there. I really thought Kane will be a Man Utd player someway somehow but if Lukaku goes there i don't think there will be space for the two.
