I can follow you, you do have a point, but perhaps jose thinks he can get much more out of him if he plays alot, something that he cant give him here at chelsea yet with the likes of torres/ ba and eto'o still beeing here

As for Jose. Who could say he knows it all ? Jose wants to win badly at any cost. Otherwise, Roman tells him to hit the road.

Close control, changing direction with the ball, tricks to separate you from your maker, link-up play, runs to create space for other teammates, defending (pressing, closing passing lanes, not good at either one).

He not good at those things and you tell me he's very talented.

Just look at all this goals, either outrunning defenders leaving huge space behind them or alone on the second post, (it's 90% of his goals).

No, loaned players are not allowed to play against there contract team.

It is the best move Chelsea could have done. People tend to forget that he probably was going to get loaned out again this year, with Torres sucking and Ba not gaining his Newcastle form Mourinho was almost forced to keep Lukaku at the bridge. Now with the coming of Eto'o, we have the strikers we need. Lukaku at his best NOW is not that much better then Torres/Ba/Eto'o, so why keep him? The club tried to sell Ba, but nobody is willing to pay the fee. Loaning out Ba would be a wrong choice given his age, he won't improve that much anyway. With Lukaku at 20 he still has years for him to reach his peak.

People are underestimating the pressure onto him. Chelsea is one of the biggest teams in the world. Despite all the young players we have, we are not patient and nor should we be. We can't afford to rely on youngsters given our stature. And Mourinho knows that. The striker position is the most difficult position, and putting so much pressure ontop of that on a 20 year old is just too much.

On one side, this is a good move, on the other it's not. Thing is that Jose is not convinced with any of our strikers. Eto'o is old, Torres is Torres and Ba seems lost while Lukaku is still young. If we had someone like Rooney who could kick ass for us regurarly, then Lukaku could've stayed and had less pressure on him. Without Rooney it gets more complicated...

It's a good move for Romelu to go to Everton to play even more then previous season and then return when Jose knows what will he do with Torres and Ba, but I do have to say I expected a much better strikeforce for the start of Jose's reign...

He won't be against us, cause loan clauses don't allow that. They have Jelavic and Kone. I think Lukaku will be first choice.
