Fulham Broadway 17,320
I'm anti capitalism but I don't support this. This is like thugs have been let loose on the streets. And now it is spreading across UK.Capitalism is what brought the economy down in 2008 and capitalism is why Europe and US are facing debt problems. But to call that as an excuse to rioting and looting is not correct. Few of those Rioters have issues with the government and it's capitalist policy while the rest/majority of them are in for the fun and free takeaways and need to be cracked down onYeah, I dont support it either just suggesting how it happened ala Rodney King. The rich are in it for fun , avoid paying billions in taxes, and shit on the poor. Surely they are worth more venom as they create the social conditions for a few greedy looters
Fulham Broadway 17,320
Fuck me. just watching whats happening in Manchester and Wolverhapton live on Sky and it dawned on me thats just what away games were like in the 70s and 80s. Ruck with the old bill and smash windows in their town on their manor. This happened every fucking Saturday up and down Britain ! Abroad it was Liverpool fans looting shops, i even remember going away with Chelsea to Blackpool and a jewellers shop was looted.Doesnt happen with football now -so it looks like the kids are just doing it anyway. Pretty sad when Footlocker and JD Sports are the pinacle of your aspirations though.

We Hate Scouse 10,326
The music isn't to blame. People who blame music either dislike that type of music or are looking for an excuse. There was trouble just like this before rap.

But it's weird cus your rich drive the economy of your country as Soviets Realized. Communism is all about taking from rich and giving it to masses And that brought the downfall of soviets as their economy crumbled. Now capitalism is just the opposite where they take from poor and give to the rich. This has brought recessions, unemployment and poverty and debts. You wonder which is better

Blue In Green 86
When something of this scale occurs, there isn't one single reason for it. Yes, something sparked it, but there are many layers to this, and it took years to accumulate.

chrismada9 1,948
My local Asda got broken into earlier today! And just now, I've had to smell the very feint aroma of smoke from my bedroom window! And I've seen a helicopter fly over my avenue as well! The actual events is as terrifying as what I see on the news! What's more, I feel the pain of all those people who have probably lost loved ones at the expense of these wankers who have nothing better to do than to cause havoc by stealing from the stores, and in the process, turning this capital into a fucking inferno!!THIS ... all this carnage and destruction is the one reason that stands out, as to why I want to leave the country!! I have mates who like rap music and listen to different rappers and they aint out bloody looting..There is reasons for this but to be honest I doubt half the people out there have a reason and are just there for the sake of it...oooo look at me I can get free stuff lets go sort of thing. And I doubt the people whose bussinesses when wrecked and have had to leave their homes give a shit about the whole thing.Wood Green fair enough there seemed to be reasoning behind it then it just went completly mental

Blue In Green 86
From Chris Buckler of the BBC: "People are following us around with bags, asking where the riots are. There is no doubt that there is a great deal of opportunism going on here tonight in Manchester."
