You talk about the relationship of Boas and Mourinho?

I think Mourinho got mad at Boas when he decided to be a Manager at Porto. Jose wanted that Boas will stay with him in Inter.

Thats what ive heard..

Well, if that's the case, he would have gotten mad when Villas-Boas bolted for Academica. He joined Porto the next year.

I think Ancelotti was hired to see if he can eke out a little bit more success with a first team that was coming to an end. I honestly think they're gonna blow the squad up this summer and there will be MASISVE changes starting with Mr Boas.

Hopefully.

Although Ron Gourlay's recent comments over Drogba's future cast doubt over that. No rumours over Kalou, Anelka and co's future either (yes, it's early days, but still). Having said that, Hiddink’s arrival would have had the opposite effect. So the decision to bring in AVB alone must be a sign of intent.

Keeping Drogba for another year doesn't, and shouldn't, cast doubt on a new beginning for Chelsea. In fact keeping him is insurance if Torres goes on another 1 in 14 run. Letting go of both Anelka and Kalou makes far more sense because Drogba is easily a better player than both irrespective of age and as we saw last season malaria!

Besides I want Drogba to get a Chapions League winners medal when we lift the Cup next season. He deserves it -_-

The thing about being young is the blinders of arrogance. If you achieve success early on in your professional career you tend to think you're bulletproof. Don't know how long it will last but I think AVB will come in with a sense of purpose and determination to prove he's in charge and has a plan. Either you're with him or you're not and hopefully Roman gives him a little time and freedom to prove himself. At least that's what I hope.

I certainly hope so. There is something speci...I won't use that word. There is something amazing about Andre and I can't explain it. He is one hell of a guy. Honestly I god tired of old, ugly, fat and boring managers. I really feel nice to see someone young and promising with a burning passion.

To all people who doubt Boas, they can do it as much as they want. He has 3 titles behind him which he and his team fully deserved for their amazing attacking football. He has worked in our club before, and in my opinion he has proven that he knows what he's doing. If our big name players don't like him, then well...they can leave. The only player that is irreplaceable atm is Terry being our captain. Likes of Drogba, Anelka, Malouda and Lampard can be replaced if they don't like working under Andre, but I think everything will go smoothly considering the fact that I already really really really like Andre more then all of our previous managers, and he's not even ours at the moment.

I hope everything goes nicely in a few years, and that we finally find a person who will lead us for some time.

if he is going to bring in 3 overpriced foreigner's as his first move as the Chelsea Gaffer then its not the start of anything new . However if he is willing to give the youth a chance ( especially the English youth ) which hopefully he will then i think it could be .

I was sick and tired of all that 'good moment, bad moment' malarky. I actually detested listening to Ancelotti after a while, god knows how the players felt.

Honestly I was to. He seemed so uncharismatic and basically out of ideas. If someone asked me who would I like to replace him, I'd say Villas-Boas :getin:

I doubt he would be happy with anything other than a starting position in the first eleven every week. It's a cliché Drogba character assessment, but it's close to the truth. Sturridge or potentially Lukaku can be insurance if Torres still hasn't got his act together.

I think this is a Massive gamble ...can only hope it comes off . Im sure the transfer targets must be his choices .. next few days should be interesting

I agree, big big gamble but if he is given timewhistling.gif he could create something special. He is as anal in his methodology as Jose but with a will for attacking, flair play. Still think there will need to be a fairly sizable overhaul of the squad and allow AVB to bring in who he wants but thats not what Gourlay is saying.
