If we don't respect the FFP this summer, when will be suspended from UCL ? And for how many years ?

Don't respect the FFP doensn't mean an automatically suspension but if we'd suspended it would be the next season.. Chelsea is on a very good way to meet the criteria and the last years have shown that we are on our way to break even (Not really break even, but in the interpretation of the FFP) so we should be allowed to play UCL even if there would be a setback in the next season.

We'll spend around 150 million this summer and i think we could recoup around 50 million. The only players in our attack who will be here next season will be Mata, Sturridge and Lukaku. Malouda will go to his wife's home country which is Brazil, Kalou will probably go back to a mid sized Euro team like Porto or Valencia. Drogba will play another few seasons in China then retire, Torres will be bought by someone like PSG or a Spanish team because he can't afford to stay here next season, it's the Euro 2012 year and if he does not play games and score goals Soldado will pip him to a place. Mikel will obviously leave and we'll get around 10 million for him which will be good. Bosingwa does not care about the Euro's so he'll stay at the club and ride out his contract, Raul will almost certainly be sold even though I think there is probably a space on the bench for him. There is also a chance that Terry could lose the armband as he will not be a certain first choice any more. KDB and Kakuta will be at the club next season with Mata, Sturridge and Lukaku and we'll buy 1 extra 22-25 year old winger then I can see 3 midfielder's coming in the summer with an extra Striker who will be in the age range of around 25-28 years old with European pedigree. I know lol i have a crystal ball hahaha but that's what probably will happen.

Pep also inherit a great squad from Rijkard. Rijkard spend big to assemble a great squad.

This myth that Guardiola is just a lucky passenger on the Barca steamtrain is annoying.

Under Rijkard Barca had just finished 3rd, TEN points behind Villareal and nearly 20 behind Madrid, they had over-egotistical and/or past it players (sound familar?) like Thuram, Zambrotta, Deco, Ronaldinho and Eto'o, he put all 5 up for transfer, 4 left Eto'o only saved himself by a change of attitude but even he was gone the summer after.

Also when Pep took over, Iniesta, Xavi and Messi were obvious talent's but nowhere near the world beating level they are today and what makes Pep extra special is he never stands still.

1st season he wins the treble but still goes straight out in the market for Ibra and Maxwell aswell as promoting Pedro.

2nd season, another league title, does he settle for that? no straight in the market and gets Villa and Mascerano in.

3rd season, 3rd league title in a row do what does he do? sign Sanchez, Cesc and promote Thiago.

Pep has won Barca more titles than the 10 years previous to his takeover where they won 2 Ronaldinho inspired titles.

Pep is just as important to Barca as Messi, if not more.

A comment from a reply to that article:

Who in their right mind would fire Ancelloti and hire a novice like AVB?

Great point, which is why I have to quote myself again:

:D:dance:

Quote yourself all you want, it's a daft quote. The fact that you, and other people, expect managers to have success after one season is the very reason this club is in the mess it is. If we stick with AVB and 3 seasons down the line are successful, then I'll look back on this shit season quite happily. In fact, so will everybody. Which is why the people on this forum who aren't first class tubes accept the state of things and are willing to wait.

It baffles me how fans can call for a managers head after their first shite season with a shite, spoilt brat filled squad. And then want to know why the next manager after them fails in a season, and the manager after him, and him...

But what happen to this season?

An injured Iniesta, Messi not in form like past couple of seasons, and Xavi having some of days.

3 most important player that made everything for Barca had nothing to do with Pep.

They are the soul of this great Barca, and it came from the cantera.

The signings you mention clearly points that he has not been that great in the transfer market.

He could sign all he wants but without this triplet of players he ain't achieving anything.

I slightly disagree with you. In MU nobody is bigger than sir alex (he sold beck and stam, because he did not like them) imagine if AVB come to Chelsea and sell lampard, terry and drogba in his first summer. So it is easier for him to motivate the player moreover since the first time I watched MU (yorke/cole/beck) era, MU always play 4-4-2 tactic based on their two great wingers and so for sir alex it's just a matter finding a player that fit into that system.

The main point I was making is that Sir Alex doesn't play players who don't produce performances, nor does he change the system for every game, nor is he satisfied if a player doesn't fulfill his potential regardless of whether the team wins. Yet most of all he instills a belief, to that player that they are good enough to play within the team when picked, so are the best. Sir Alex will always seek to motivate his players in such a positive way even when he is angry with them.

Contrast that with AVB who in all honesty hasn't had many a good word to say about any player since his arrival, nor does he appear to want to instill any confidence or have genuine light hearted rapport with the players. AVB is too pragmatic in his approach.

Just one other thing. It's easy to blame the players but what you have too remember is that the Chelsea heirarchy have removed so many managers in 7 years. This has basically left the players having to fend for themselves in that time. At the end of the day it isn't the players that sack a manager but the board. The players have been left to aid short term managers in order to produce winning performances time and again. Just think about it. How would any of us feel if we had a different manager practically every year. Don't blame the players without first looking at the board.

:goodpost:

Like I said they will never learn and we will have 100 new managers in a decade!

It's a shame many people want AVB to go, Yes, we're playing shit, but most of our players are past it, and not good enough. I am looking forward to the summer plans, i am sure he can rebuild us and make us play the type of football he wants to play. Sadly if we sack him many of the older players will be here next season...

I can live without a trophy for a couple of seasons, shame many people on here cant.

I do not know what Chelsea´s Owner or Board Decide about the Worst Coach in the Abramovich´s Era, in that is a Faqs considering the 25 games they both coach... because Boas is 6 points Worst and 2 places down in the table than Phill... and We 1 step and a half out of the CL..... As I was telling U.... No matter who or what they decide.... The course Chelsea y Heading is out of Every European Competition... I belive we will be 6 maybe 5 Lucky in the Final Table.... and the Dressing Rom is a War Zone.... Boas came and has became a Agent of Caos in Chelsea.... I Wonder from who he learn that... Clear ...it was not Mourinho....

Those players were still around in 07/08 when they flopped horrifically.

something tells me you are happy about all this

No am aint Zolayes. But he is the worst coach in Abramoviches era. he is going to drag us deep down

if we dont stop him. But all in all we shouldnt be pissed of by Boas, its the russian idiot and his board

who finally pay for his lack of football knowlegde. The only reason why Boas aint sacked yet is because

he belived in wonder boy, and now what, end of the road or is he starting all over again?. This club is sadly

lead by bunch of morons. I still believe in changes and some of the old guard has to stop in summer and a

new beginning must be made. There is only one thing that can change things for good, get the Roman Empire

out of our club!. He is the bigest MF "glory hunter" of all, and dont fool yourself we loved it,didnt we?. Somehow

i dream of us not getting that 4 place, seriously!.
