Na not really as Cech/Lamps will wear the armband if they are in the team.

Yeah I've only done 10 haha. Got at least 4 more next year so I will have gone through 6 years at high school doing only 14 exams! I don't know how the current Scottish schooling system compares to the rest of the world but the lesser amount of exams the better

I can see Spurs getting a few gems signed under Baldini and AVB. They both have a great eye for talent. Hoping they don't though for obvious reasons....

Jose made that Chelsea team, if Ranieri had stayed we would of probably finished in the top 4 again but we wouldn't have won the league no way. If you take out all of Romans money, nobody would have won anything in his era. The Inter team he inherited lacked self belief and confidence after Mancini left, Jose sorted that, he galvanized a bunch of experienced players along with completing the transfer of Wesley Sneidjer who he built his team around. Sneidjer was the masterstroke signing for Jose, Militio eventually signed and he also along with Ibra/Eto'o and Sneidjer basically carried Inter to those trophies. To say Jose was average is a joke. Cambiasso, Samuel, Cesar, Chivu, Stankovic etc were all good players but the team didn't function as a team. He signed Sneidjer and managed to rejuvenate the older players to do something special. Tell me the last Italian team to win a treble? Please do? The fact Jose won the CL as well despite Inter not having won the trophy in 50 years as well is a special achievement. To say Jose is an average manager is beyond ridiculous. I know its your opinion but you have to look at what he done with Porto, Chelsea and Inter and even with Madrid in his second season to see that he is not average. His trophy haul proves this. When did an average manager win 20 trophies in 10 years? Also from February 2002 and April 2011 Mourinho hadn't lost a home game, average manager yeah? Only coach to win league titles in Spain, Italy and England, you sure hes average?

Tbh I reckon that's a decent move for Spurs, he was behind recruiting the likes of Erik Lamela from River Plate, Miralem Pjanic from Lyon and Marquinhos from Corinthians who have been big successes. Just hoping he and AVB lose their knack of finding good players though so we can stuff them 8-0 next year

His first touch is alright. I think first touch is a thing that people make a big deal out of but say if Dzeko's playing well and everythings going for him his first touch will probably be very good as in comparison to when hes playing bad its going to be bad.
-
Hes going to Spurs to be Technical Director I reckon. Hes been linked for the last season or two so don't be surprised.
-
He would. I'm surprised we moved for Torres in comparison to Dzeko who could have replaced Didier or Suarez who could have done what Anelka done and played wider. I know Suarez is a cunt but he could. well would have been perfect for our 4-3-3 as he can play anywhere along the front three. Damn board. Hes a cunt now though, so get it up him,!

Hahah that is awesome. The duck kinda reminds me of the duck in the music video for that Far East Movement song where it and other ducks basically stick up for a granny and kill a whole bunch of chavs lol.

What does it matter what his wages are, we pay Lampard £150k to sit on the bench half the time. We payed Malouda about £100k each week for a whole year and he didn't even play. Benayoun was on around £80k and he played 9 times this season. Their seems to be some sort of rumor that Sneidjer was on €250,000 at Inter but Inters finances aren't amazing and I doubt he was on that. I bet at Real he wasn't even on €70,000-100,000 so for him to move to Inter so they could pay him €250,000 seems rather extreme. His move to United 'fell through' apparently because of his demands for a €250,000 salary, probably bullshit. It probably fell through because of the transfer fee Inter were demanding even though he warranted one after having an amazing 2 or 3 years with Inter under Jose. I'd say maybe at Inter Sneidjer was one of the top earners but no way did he make €250k, no fucking way, Morratti is crazy but not that crazy.
-
Kroos looks like a player who should play deeper, hes not an attacking midfielder in my eyes. He probably just plays there as Martinez and Schweinsteiger who are better than him both play in the pivot.
-
Tbh Eto'o was a bigger lose for Barca. He was probably better than Ibra so getting 45 million and Eto'o for a player Eto'o is better than is one hell of a deal.
-
You're having to do 13 exams in one year? I don't even think I've done 13 exams in my life. I've done what 10? Lmao. Anyway the schooling systems are probably a lot different. Good luck bud!

I'm guessing The Black Swan is the book that the films based on? Or am I just mixing everything up I finished reading a book called 'brilliant orange the neurotic genius of dutch football' the other night, got it a while ago but with exams and that never got a chance to read it. Quite a good book, just about everything Dutch in the beautiful game, like total football, Holland at the World Cup in the eighties, how their football tries to embody the country's culture and history and that. Good little read.

Hes not gonna walk into our first XI unopposed. Hes going to have to come back to Chelsea and fight for his place at one point. Cech plays every game hes fit for because hes the best GK at the club, Courtois is near enough at the same quality so if he was there to challenge he would maybe get games... was the same with Cech when he first arrived, he had to wait for Cudicini to get injured to get a shot at the first team as he was his understudy. Still reckon loaning Courtois to a club in England would be better than a loan to Atleti again, don't know what it is, have a feeling that the longer he stays with Alteti hes gonna say 'I'm comfortable here, might consider staying'. I know I've mentioned the De Gea adaption stuff before and Thibaut may be better physically developed but there is a major different between the Belgian league and La Liga in comparison to the Premier League. Even Julio Cesar, who is an experienced goal keeper mentioned it in an interview before Brazil played England a while back about the difference from Serie A to the Premier League for a GK. I know its hard to find an English club who are in the CL that aren't really going to be competing with us for the CL spots but personally I'd have put him to Everton if they would have taken him. Howard is a decent keeper still but hes 33 now and surely Everton wouldn't reject such an opportunity, or you'd hope not! Anyway if he goes on loan again but then comes back then sure I'd be happy but I have a feeling hes going to be extremely comfortable at Atleti if he does a third year and then that puts doubt in my head despite how ever many interviews saying he wants to be part of Chelsea's future etc. I mean look at De Bruyne and hes only done one season on loan now hes apparently wanting to go to Dortmund.
-
David Silva was also playing shit hot that day. Nasri wasn't bad either.
-
I actually want to see who we get in for a back up GK tbh. Don't think we'll take Courtois this year tbh, maybe its for the best as he will be playing more games etc but I don't know because sometimes you learn more playing with top players and surely training with Petr could benefit him no? Anyway mentioning Moses, I really hope he stays here, I can see Jose ironing out a few creases in him, like his left foot and possibly his decision making.
-
Yes its perhaps his downfall along with defensive contribution but I suppose we cannot expect a 5 ft 7 guy to win or even score headers on a regular basis haha!
-
I actually think Oscar could score more goals with his head tbh, the game against Liverpool he scored a very good header and I was quite happy to see he scored it. Hopefully its something he could work on because he isn't really a small player hes kinda average height and if he could win headers from attacking set pieces it would be useful. Sure its more a "can he" rather than "he can" but I don't know. Anyway Dzeko is a quality striker who very much carried Wolfsburg to the Bundesliga title a few years back. At Wolfsburg where the play was very much focused on creating chances for him he delivered big time so surely if our 3 creators looked to find him he'd score lots of goals. Hes capable of scoring all sorts of goals... left footers, right footers, tap ins, headers, volleys, long range shots you name it he can score them. For a big man his technique is rather good as well and he can bring others into play. His shooting technique is class, he can hit them with placement, power, spin/dip etc. Class volley he scored a few years back vs Hannover 4 goals vs Spuds, really good header in there as well as a lovely chipped shot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_mY8YtVTNs

Na I cant see Mourinho being too happy having to rely on Bertrand as Ash's back up if he gets injured, if Coentrao is happy to be a back up/fight for his place and hes not gonna cost too much I'd be happy enough with that despite not rating him that highly. I also see Mourinho looking to sign a strong MF player which we desperately need (De Rossi or someone) to take Lampard's role in the 2 holding players. Lampard is a decent option for rotation and coming off the bench but I don't think he should start over 25-30 games. He should take a Giggs/Scholes role and maybe play every few games to rest players or when Jose feels he needs to call on his experienced players etc.
-
But they gave Robbie, who they never had confidence in, 70-80 odd million to sign Hazard, Oscar, Moses, Azpi, Marin etc didn't they? The board also gave AVB near enough 60 million to sign Mata, Lukaku, Cahill and Romeu... he also brought the likes of Christensen, Feruz and Omeruo to the club. Mourinho will get financial backing, maybe not 300 million but surely close to 100 million to bring in players he feels the team needs this summer if he really, really feels he needs to spend that much. Any manager that comes here will get financial backing to a certain degree. We are not a lesser club financially.
-
At least he knows he could shoot more, time for Mata to also admit that. They get into good positions and always look to pass as opposed to shoot when the chance to shoot is there.
-
Loan him somewhere in Holland. Best league for developing technical players. Only problem is probably his girlfriend will greet her eyes out for centuries if he goes anywhere outside England.
