Really we should rest Matic or Cesc for this game can't risk both of them being booked. Ramires' energy and ability to take the team up the pitch and break the lines over Cesc's guile could be useful considering Sandro and Barton are gonna be crunching anything that moves but yeah, we'll see what happens. Oscar must perform if he plays, times running out I think. You get the feeling QPR will end up playing class too, like they always fucking decide to do when we show up, the cunts. I mean I'm feeling it so much I've already stuck a tenner on Bobby Zamora to score anytime.

Absolute pointless signing this season I think other than him being in the dressing room. Hopefully he will retire and become a coach next year though. Anyone else think Danny Ings would be a viable option for third choice next year on a free transfer or is it just me?
-
Think if he played alongside Matic we would of had a better chance, similar to the line up against Stoke.
-
Won't be going anywhere, he signed a 5 year extension in December 2012 under Di Matteo remember. Can't see Jose selling him, he brought him here, he obviously still feels hes good enough to contribute here so he won't go anywhere unless its a stupid offer.
-
To be honest it depends. Chelsea picked up more of an African fan base when players like Mikel, Kalou, Drogba and Essien all played here so it does work but also we signed a lot of Portuguese players in Jose's first spell and I think it had a similar effect. Also with Abramovich being Russian you heard about Russian players being Chelsea fans... Dzagoev and Zhirkov especially were the one we always heard about. Markovic at Liverpool... Chelsea fan... despite being Serbian but yeah.. depends really, doesn't always work that way.

I'm not judging these players on what they did for other clubs, I'm judging them on what they've done/did for us. All poor players for us, although perhaps Wallace's inclusion is harsh but like McEachran sitting on the bench for Vitesse, points to one way and that is the exit door.
-
De Gea Clyne - Alderwereild (spelling?) - Terry - Azpi Fabregas - Matic - Cazorla Sanchez - Costa - Hazard Would of put Kane but I couldn't leave any of those 3 MF players out at all.

Oh come on that is bullshit. A player signing should benefit a club in footballing terms not commercially. If we aren't big in Asia find another way to improve our fanbase there, I'd rather have a good enough player who can make it here in a few years or compete already than someone signed to entirely boost the profile of the club in another country. People say our youth system is pointless but if we are signing players to benefit us commercially then the chances of a young guy coming through is even slimmer than what it was before because eventually players aren't going to come here to go on loan to Vitesse or that for 2-3 years, they will want to be part of the squad then it seems even more and more pointless. We've signed poor players before like Ben Haim, Marin, Wallace, Zhirkov, Torres etc so for Jose to say that a players we are signings quality is never in discussion or whatever is ridiculous he knows the clubs transfer history has not always been a roaring success in the past.
-
A club as big as ours should not be signing a crappy player to tap into the Asian market. If we want to tap into it sign a fucking good player or at least do a tour or two, what a shambles. If he comes here and takes a spot in the squad and is utter shit what a waste. Even if he goes on loan, who is he? The J League? Kagawa has been the best player to come out of that league and will be for ages and ages I assure you.

Is it just me or was his best performance for Chelsea his debut in the CL against Juventus? Which was his first season.... Also Sturridge again, the guy who is having another season like his last 6 months at Chelsea, constantly injured and playing poorly. Suarez's influence on Sturridge is vastly underrated, created so much space and chances for him.
-
Mourinho sold Chelsea's best player for 2 years in a row, absolutely convinced Oscar was his best number 10, he downed tools after 6 months of that season and apart from a brief spell this season he has never hit that consistency or really improved since. How is that Jose's fault? Really looking forward to your reply because Jose worked with players like Sneidjer and Ozil who were brilliant #10s and they definitely progressed under him despite playing in counter attack orientated teams. Are you still going to complain about Jose when we win the league? Also the thing about us needing to play with more adventure? Like Brazil when they got demolished by Germany? Ronaldo, Oscar, Deco how many titles have they won as managers....?
-
Been saying that now for a while, too inconsistent, can do something but then disappears in games for prolonged periods. Sometimes just never in the game at all. For what we paid now we aren't seeing an improvement on our investment, on a young player who by now if he was as good as everyone though and considering hes played 75% of games for Chelsea since coming here he should be a much better player than what he currently is.
-
Italian defenders are absolutely cynical. Its like an art form in Italy... Yeah any team that plays Phil Jones, Fabian Delph and Theo Walcott deserves to get beat. How they are international footballers I'll never fucking know.
-
If we buy John Stones ahead of Varane sack the board.
-
Oh the Hibees are fucking shit cunts.
-
Thought you might say because Mikel is shit like I was expecting from someone but fair point.
-
Rakitic doesn't just do the dirty work lol, Rakitic is always willing to break the lines and get in the box as well interchanging with Busquets if he decides to advance further up the pitch, he is actually quite a key component to that system because Iniesta isn't as mobile a player or as willing to get into the box as much as Rakitic is and he is quite adept at playing in that sitting role having played there previously in his career. Koke should come in as a replacement for Oscar tbh.
-
Sure playing the exact same team that dominated them at the Britania winning however many first and second balls is a stupid idea.... because it includes Mikel... His presence at set plays offensively and defensively definitely disqualifies your disqualification. If anybody wants to drop Ivanovic v Stoke then wait and see them pile a long ball onto Walters or Crouch who will be up against Azpi or target him from offensive set plays. Courtois, Ivanovic, Terry, Matic, Hazard, Costa if fit must all play this game in my eyes.
-
Same team that beat them at the Britannia please. Mikel, Matic sitting, Cesc #10.
-
Better than Ivanovic, don't make me laugh man, Micah Richards is pure and utter shite now a days.
-
Your faith in a young player who has not played over 45 minutes for Chelsea in one game in comparison to a guy who was vital to us winning the CL and has racked up lots and lots of appearances here under 5 managers is crazy. I don't get this RLC could easily be a first team regular here wank fest thing to be honest, hes a good young player, a very good player at u21 level but u21 isn't even championship standard and not even you can disagree with that. How anybody can justify someone playing u21 football to be in the team ahead of players like Ramires or Mikel is crazy. I see you've also not mentioned how piss poor Matic has been in most games in 2015 as well as trying to shift the blame onto Ramires about the Hull game. Matic gets away with some flack on this forum, hes a great player but really struggling right now. Does this mean RLC can replace him as well? When we play shit or scrape a result everyone seems to turn on Ramires or Gary Cahill for some reason. Also anyone saying Ramires is turning into Mikel do yourself a favor and stop watching football....
-
Classy second goal. What could possibly have been, huh?
-
I would probably stop coming on the forum if cunts started doing the OMG WHY DID WE SELL LUKAKU bullshit hahahaha.... crazy how people still found the time to complain about it despite signing Diego Costa for the same money basically.
-
Please say you were high when you said this? He wasn't great today to be fair but like I said at the end of last season getting rid of him would be stupid, hes still an excellent player to have in the squad and can still be key in bigger games.
-
Yeah Mikel being injured/benched hasn't helped in some of these games. Ideal to come and help restore a bit of control in these matches when teams are starting to pile the pressure on us. ..........waits for half the forum to quote this and say Mikel is shit 3 2 1.....
