  1. PSG aren't just dependent on Verratti though, Thiago Motta, David Luiz, Cabaye are all players who can do the same. We concentrate too much on stopping Verratti and then Motta or Luiz or someone will do what he was doing and we will have the same problem. I think we should attack them this game, we let them come at us and it goes like in France then it will be a tough night, I am surprised they didn't get more than one goal that night.
  2. Lets be honest, Verratti is going to be too busy being a cunt making cuntish tackles and will probably (...ok hopefully) get himself sent off. More concerned about Cavani and Ibra than Verratti, they had it far too easy in France especially second half.
  3. I don't see why we are overly worried about Veratti, 1) we are the home team with the away goal from the last leg, we should be the ones looking to have all the impetus and be on the front foot and 2) hes a good passer obviously but hes known for going for that spectacular pass instead of doing the simple one sometimes.
  4. Diego Costa will score his first goal in Europe for Chelsea. Then everyone will complain because he scores too much.
  5. Aye after WHS mentioned thief I do remember seeing you go on about that in another thread a while ago. What a wanker.
  6. For the love of fuck do you actually watch Chelsea play? He offers nothing? He offers everything. He moves off the ball even if he doesn't get the ball creating space for others, he holds the ball up, he basically initiates the pressing when we do press because he is the first one to do it or he will drop in a bit deeper help out if we are sitting really deep. Then you can talk about his passion when he plays, Torres would sulk about do fuck all, not even the basics of what you'd expect a 50M player to do but if Costa doesn't score you know your playing him because hes constantly there in your face no matter what, if he doesn't score you will always hear something about him, be it for apparently elbowing or stamping or pushing or whatever but hes always getting stuck in and doing his bit for the team. Some fans love players that graft like fuck and I am the same, Azpi, Costa, Ramires, Ivanovic, JT... all top players to me firstly because of their attitude and willingness to do what they have to topped off with their ability and quality in each position. Jose said we needed players with balls after Palace beat us last year and he went and got one of the ballsiest player out there but no everyone is unhappy because if he don't score he does nothing. Its quite similar with Willian, he can play well but not score or assist but what he does is vital and that's also why Cuadrado has also struggled to get in the team despite many saying he was superior to Willian (as well as the fact hes not done much yet but that will come in time hopefully). We are a different team this year mostly because of this man as well as Cesc and Courtois. Na still complain like fuck though wont we.
  7. Fuck sake we aren't starting this shite again are we? Not slagging the article of mate obviously a lot of work gone into it and that but the whole still hot or not thing, its the same with the other thread about early season form. Costa is human, he cannot just replicate his first 5 or 6 games can he? Scoring 9 goals in 4 games or whatever it was. That sort of form for a guy in a new country in a new team was incredible. People get injuries in a season, people have ups and people have downs, hes played a lot of games without training properly at the start of the season which has obviously affected him because hes looked very sluggish for a while. Not a dig at you mate again, but next it will be an article by someone about Fabregas going back to his old ways like at Arsenal or an article about Ramires, hounding him out the club again like some people where because he got 2 red cards in like 8 months at the end of last season or whatever (you do know who yous are). We are too demanding... especially on a team who has won a trophy this season, top of the league by 5 points with a game in hand and also in with a very big chance of going through to the CL quarter finals or whatever.
  8. I'd be happy to get him to be honest, but signing another CM means either two things: he'd be back up to Matic or Oscar would probably get sold because we'd play a 4-3-3, Matic holding with Matuidi and Fabregas ahead of him.
  9. About time someone mentioned scotch eggs in this thread, it was all kicking off but the scotch eggs came in and just calmed this place down. What a time to be alive.
  10. Aww fuck sorry mate, I'll miss the orgy because on the 13th March I'm in France or maybe Switzerland opening some mad porta.....
  11. The fact he was meant to be better than Willian and a shoe in for that right wing position made me laugh before we signed him and the fact Salah has gone to Florence, played in his position and scored more goals than he did in nearly 30 games, even funnier. Like was said about Schurrle as well, having a good world cup doesn't necessarily mean much and obviously he needs to adapt but still hes hardly shown much, like any sort of half signs what hes really of capable, has he? Like I said before he came here not the right player for our right hand side IF we wanted an upgrade on what we had, just a glorified Willian because of his World Cup games.
  12. He'd probably start for every team in the PL except City and ourselves, but so far he looks much better than Cuadrado has for us. Can't say I've been too impressed with Cuadrado yet but I'll wait still only his first month but the difference is as shown by Salah that players can hit the ground running without having to adapt.
  13. No 9 times out of 10 they've gone onto bigger clubs and then went onto a bigger club after so long there. There is nobody from the Belgian League who can straight fit into a top 4 team that is my point, never mind a 18 year old whos played half a season or whatever. They all needed another step before playing for bigger teams.
  14. Does somebody want to explain to fuck what just happened
  15. You really are a little bitch aren't you? You'll sit and make sarcastic comments about the mods or whatever and then when someone replies you do the typical cuntish thing and post something like that.
  16. Does it really fucking matter if nobody can name his specific injuries considering anyone who has watched any sort of European football since 2008 or 2009 could tell you hes spent more time shagging Berlusconi's daughter and on the treatment table more than on the pitch? Or does the great all powerful and knowing Leif know everything like he always does (which if you did know everything, you'd have realized he played maybe just over 120 games over 5 or 6 seasons for Milan when he was pretty much their main striker)? Just because you think your right doesn't mean you are. 1 hamstring injury 2 muscle strain in thigh. Two injuries he had. Your move pal. Also what the fuck is your issue with the mods? If you don't like them then fucking shut up and leave the forum jesus christ, what a whining little cunt you are.
  17. Only playing in the Belgian league as well, so to say a move to Chelsea is a good idea, isn't perhaps a good idea.
  18. Has anyone said Bamford yet??? Always seems to happen even if its in a thread for say Messi or Aguero or Destro or the best unborn striker in the world, always the we have Bamford comment.... Might as well just sign Adriano if we are going to sign Pato.... lmao
  19. I am sorry but we just won a cup final and are still top of the table with a chance to go 8 points clear but people are concerned about where are 'early season form' went ??? Tell me a team who plays at the same high level for 38 games...... or for that matter a player... but I'd say we aren't as clinical and at times don't score enough, its not necessarily the teams performance but some players who scored goals in past seasons aren't doing so much now (Ramires, Oscar, Willian etc) The very few posters posting 'Fabregas isn't creating the same chances or is taking easy passes' in the other pages are getting on my nerves, he can't do it all himself (especially when hes being man marked in a lot of games or having a lack of runs to find from certain players like Oscar, Willian in particular and even Ramires when hes played) he already has like 15+ assists this season, that's more than enough for a central midfield player who I think also has covered close to the most amount of distance in this team and won tackles, interceptions (which people didn't think he could do in a Mourinho team) and scored a few goals. Hazard is doing what Hazard does but again for a player of his ability, who scored 17 last season may I add, he probably still needs to be scoring more goals but hes hardly as blamable as Oscar, Willian and even Cuadrado (who in minimal game time has yet to do anything meaningful, may sound harsh but look at Schurrle and Salah's impact already in 3, 4 or 5 games for Wolfsburg and Fiorentina), haven't scored a lot or assisted a lot all season. Costa hasn't looked 100% fit in recent weeks understandable after 3 weeks because of that ban but he is essential to this team like he was at Atletico and will get his match rhythm back after he scores a few goals in a few games. I'm glad we have players like Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic and Zouma who are all a threat from set pieces because some of the goals we've scored from set plays have been crucial and helped us through various games but others like Oscar, Ramires, Willian, Cuadrado, Remy, Drogba, if they play need to score more often which is harsh on some but also true.
  20. Craig Gordon has rarely made a mistake since he came back after 2-3 years out of the game suffering from a major injury except for one against Inter Milan. I would take him as our number 2 if he can maintain his fitness for the rest of this season, no doubt about it he's more than reliable to be a number 2 at a club like Chelsea. If we are looking for reliable GKs to be number 2 him or Hull's Alan McGregor or even someone like Ben Foster would be a great number 2 and wouldn't cost a lot. John Ruddy is vastly overrated, Green is also overrated. Begovic? Ffs we're dreaming surely if we think he'll come here to play once every 2 months.
  21. Who cares? We fucking won and didn't concede against a team that stuck 5 past us. If we play every final like that but win I personally couldn't give a shit. Sure you go on to say about us winning bla bla bla but that first paragraph is you just whinging over fuck all really. We all knew what was going to come because of that 5-3 game when we got them in the final.
  22. People slag him off all the time but when it matters hes outstanding. You know what your going to get from him as a team mate and what your going to get from him as an opponent, he's in my eyes one of the best big game players we have, wouldn't trade him for any other right back.
  23. Another big game he spent most of it on the bench, worrying times for him I think because Ramires-Zouma-Cesc looked decent together, put Matic in there and you have an even better midfield 3.
