All the players causing havoc should be in the stands and playing the rest of the season in the reserves, time to earn your money AVB

Lampard and Drogba do have a few years left if they accept lesser roles but it is becoming increasingly clear they wont so they will be gone in the summer. Luiz got tried in other position's for Benfica, at left back he wasn't very good, at defensive midfield he was average, he started seeing his potential when he was a regular centre back. Our mistake in the summer was focusing too much on Modric, we should have just given up on him and gone for Moutinho.

Oriol hasn't been that bad these past month, certainly not on the level Meireles has been the past month or Lampard has for most of the season. The only problem is because his fantastic first few games he was getting hyped up as superman so he was only ever going to disappoint after that.

What possesed us to pay 180k a week in the first place, he was only on 80k at the Scousers, surely a basic payrise would have been suited or if he really was "ambitious" he would have just accepted the same wage. What on earth possessed us to offer that much?

------------------------Cech------------------------- Ivanovic-------Luiz---------Cahill-------Bertrand -----------------Romeu-------Ramires------------ Sturridge-------------Mata-----------------Kalou ------------------------Drogba---------------------- Drogba will atleast serve to keep the centre half's occupied so the 3 infront get more space to play. Cole, Meireles, Bosingwa, Lampard and Torres should not be near this team right now, Lampard may have a decent record against Bolton but we went to the Emirates last season and lined up on the assumption Drogba would destroy them again, how did that go?

2 out of 3 aint bad.

oh ffs not more of these.

The point im trying to make amoungst all others is if we somehow in magical land get Torres's best form we will get a world class forward, if Carroll hits top form at Liverpool they will get a decent run of the mill forward.
-
Maybe they should have banners, after all Torres got one before he even put on a Chelsea shirt.
-
I would genuinely rather have Sam Allardyce than Rafa.

£27m would be an complete bargain for this guy in this current climate.
-
I was one of his backers up until about November but with every passing game it's becoming increasingly clear that Torres is done. To go on one scoring drought then beat it the following season beggars belief. My vote goes to Falcao, this guy is a goal machine.
-
Can you make an anyone but Torres option?
-
Kalou-----Walcott----Malouda Tasty
-
The players 'revolting' against him should be sacked immediately but we all know that won't happen.
-
How? both players are struggling for goals just as much as eachother.
-
2 more, wow.
-
The only good things to come out of this. 1. Torres helped get us Mata. 2. Liverpool wasted the bulk of the £50m on someone even worse.
-
5 and a half and we will seriously struggle to flog him unless he takes a massive wage cut of he goes on loan with us paying the bulk of his wages.
-
Van Der Wiel? no thanks, if we somehow ship off Bosingwa last thing we need is a younger version through the door.
-
Those players were still around in 07/08 when they flopped horrifically.

This myth that Guardiola is just a lucky passenger on the Barca steamtrain is annoying. Under Rijkard Barca had just finished 3rd, TEN points behind Villareal and nearly 20 behind Madrid, they had over-egotistical and/or past it players (sound familar?) like Thuram, Zambrotta, Deco, Ronaldinho and Eto'o, he put all 5 up for transfer, 4 left Eto'o only saved himself by a change of attitude but even he was gone the summer after. Also when Pep took over, Iniesta, Xavi and Messi were obvious talent's but nowhere near the world beating level they are today and what makes Pep extra special is he never stands still. 1st season he wins the treble but still goes straight out in the market for Ibra and Maxwell aswell as promoting Pedro. 2nd season, another league title, does he settle for that? no straight in the market and gets Villa and Mascerano in. 3rd season, 3rd league title in a row do what does he do? sign Sanchez, Cesc and promote Thiago. Pep has won Barca more titles than the 10 years previous to his takeover where they won 2 Ronaldinho inspired titles. Pep is just as important to Barca as Messi, if not more.

"oi, Ivan, is that new lad still eyeing me up??"
