What really infuriates me about what has happened in recent years is not so much the team we have now it's with more clever purchases our team would still be great team. An over the hill Deco over Modric in 2008, who's 'clever' idea was it? We could have got players like Cabaye, Ciisse and Ben Arfa for the money we spent on £13m a goal Torres. £17m on Bosingwa when we could have just kept Glen Johnson, i think Johnson's shite but that's not the point. Roman has spent nearly £500m since he brought the club and we are left with a team worse than when he took over, who the hell is responsible for that?

Hate's a strong word but he hardly helped last season, all he did was sit there and show precious little enthusiasm, in that sense he is one of a kind

What i do find baffling is why we gave Torres 180k a week. He took a pay cut to go to Liverpool and turned down City's offer of 250k a week so he is clearly not money driven, so why couldn't we have just offered his same wages at Liverpool maybe a bit more. If this more was about ambition like he claims then surely he wouldn't have said no?

He was solid which for a young left back playing his 3rd premier game was impressive, imagine Van Aanholt playing tonight.

I don't know why Kalou is getting scapegoated, he was dreadful and he is a shit player we have established that but he offers something that's very rare in out team these days, a work rate. A question to the members here wanting us to take a punt on Moyes, would you also consider Alan Curbishley if he made himself available? he did just as miracle of a job at Charlton even more so looking at were they are now.
