- Oriol Romeu made his first start (Carling Cup matches aside) for Chelsea against Wolves in the 3-0 home victory, prior to that match Chelsea lost 4 out of the last 7 matches only winning 2 (one of those in extra time at Goodison). - Including the Wolves match, Chelsea went on to win 4 of the next 5 games with Oriol starting them all, the exception being the 2-0 Carling Cup loss to Liverpool in which Oriol was the best Chelsea player on the night anyway. - Got took off at Wigan at half time while we were cruising towards a clean sheet, looked all over the place in the second half aswell as for most of the first half at WHL until Romeu came on. - Take Romeu off in the 60th minute against Aston Villa with the score 1-1, hey presto Villa start creating numerous chances and end up 3-1 winners. - Romeu then plays the full 90 minutes in our wins at Molineux and at home to Sunderland. - Since the Sunderland match Romeu has only started once and we have only won once. Pattern starting to emerge? Why on earth is this guy not playing EVERY GAME.

Pep would never sign for us Strangely enough if Jose leaves Madrid and we finish outside the top 4 and sack AVB, i can see Jose relishing the chance to return, we (for Roman's standards) will be at complete rock bottom, Jose comes back sorts us out with the extra added bonus of making AVB look silly. The double winning season was great but i think the last few months have made some forget just how horrific last season was. If it weren't for Alex single handedly preventing United at Old Trafford in that second half in May we could easily have been on the receiving end of 8 goals there like Arsenal were, and i can't think off one game last season where the scoreline didn't flatter us, even the romping wins at that start off the season were much closer than the scoreline's suggested. The key difference between this season and last is their has actually been games were we have had little sprinkles of hope. But don't let other things that have happened this season blind you to think last season was better than it was, it weren't we were horrific in every sense of the word.

come on I wanted Carlo to get one last season but how do you know we wouldn't be in the mess without him? last season (with Carlo) we were in the same mess worse if you consider we were without Mata and Sturridge.

I would say if AVB goes bring back Zola as manager but then again i don't think my threshold extends to seeing him getting sacked.
