Yeah im gutted he was doing us a great service Happy for Steve Clarke tho, a shot at a manager's job for him is well overdue.

Kenny Dalglish has been sacked as Liverpool manager. It is news which will send shockwaves through the fans of the Anfield club and every one in football. Despite Liverpool's poor form which see's them 8th in the league (would have been 9th if Sunderland held on at Eastland's yesterday) there has been little sign of him being under threat. It's a shock especially with the timing of it coming on the morning of their 6 pointer with Newcastle at St James Park. However John Henry and the Liverpool board felt they had no option but to make the change immediately before Liverpool fall further down the league table. A Liverpool spokesperson said "we are very grateful for the work Kenny has done since returning last year, but the results lately and for the most of the season have just not been good enough and we feel now is a time to act and make that change. Kenny is still a legend at the club and will be welcome back at any time". Steve Clarke will take over Liverpool on a interim basis until the end of the season starting today at Newcastle. http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/17497323 well i never expected that, im pretty gutted tbh Kenny was doing a fine job

For years ive been shitting myself every time we play Stoke that we will concede from a long throw and when we do concede from one it aint even them

RDM has always been vastly under-rated tactically, you don't mastermind 4 points out of 6 at The Emirates and Old Trafford with West Brom if your weak or even average tactically.
-
Jose Mourinho or Roberto Di Matteo now it has to be one of them, no one else should even be considered. Jose still loves the club and the fact that he quickly came out and rebuffed the City links but not our one's could be telling? and he is the only man that can guarantee to be a success, its the only non risk, lets look at the other candidate's. Guardiola - If he comes here he will need to use the transfer market, his record in that department is very so-so, he's a great manager but could you imagine him trying to teach our bunch tika taka? Moyes - Too risky could easily backfire like Roy did with Liverpool and Big Sam with Newcastle. Working wonder's at a mid table team with a limited budget doesn't automatically mean you will win the league when you do get a kitty to dig into. Bielsa - Would be a mix of AVB and Juande Ramos in the PL, long term might be good but short term would be a tragedy and our board are not patient enough. Low - Been in International football for far too long, would be just like Scolari. So either we should get Jose back or give RDM a one year deal at the end of this season and see what happens. Atleast RDM will know which players need to go, Jose would get rid of surplus players regardless i just don't think i can hack another 'squad assesment' this summer.

If it means getting shot of Bosingwa i'm more than happy for Paulo to be in the squad next season. Lots of experience should be leaving us this summer i see no harm in keeping the best 3rd choice Right Back in the league on our books. If it aint broke .... We have a lot of games in the run in and i think he should be the man playing when Ivan is injured/needs a rest.

Win our home games, get what we can away and hope for the best!!!

What i find the most funny thing is getting called a glory supporter by say a Torquay fan is one thing, but when Liverpool and United fans call our support plastic well the hypocrisy beggar's belief considering they both have more of what you would call 'plastic' fans than any other team's on this earth. Im not just saying this because im a Chelsea fan but i haven't meet one Chelsea fan i would deem a 'plastic', all fellow Chelsea fans ive meet know their stuff and the club and are passionate as anything.

Got 9 points out of 18 so far which is about average for a team promoted to the premier league.
-
If we do keep him we still need to get someone like Cavani in, it's just too risky making Torres main forward, maybe Torres can take the role of second forward.
-
Is Luiz out on Wednesday? if so that's a huge blow. Don't get me wrong i have taken to Cahill but Luiz has the experience of CL and CL nights seems to bring out the best in him (see the first leg, Napoli home, Valencia home and you could even say Levekusen home).
-
He has been impressing lately. If he carries on like this until the end of the season then he will defiantly stay another term. Having said that tho that supposed £45m bid Anzhi are going to make, even if Torres does get to back to form we really can't afford to turn that down, we could use that and get 2 playmakers.

for my (semi) outburst in the Kalou thread yesterday when i said this i didn't have the best of days or the best of months and only this morning looking back at previous post's in the last month or so have i realised just how much it has came across (in the wrong way) with my posting. So i would like to apologies to Kostas (who was quoted when i said that above in the Kalou thread) and any one else ive been a bit narky with in the last month, although i will say i never have or never will take anything personal. I am going to take a break for a bit however as i don't want to litter this wonderful site with any more of my shite rambiling's off the past month or so and ill come back when i feel i can make a more positive than negative contribution to the site. But again i would like to say sorry for any negative feeling i created recently and when i come back hopefully this will be forgotten as it was out of character for me.

Could ask you and everyone else that bashes him all the time. Maybe we should sell him and re-sign him for £50m and give him 180k a week then he will all off a sudden get 'support', Anyway ive had enough ive decided this forum isn't for me anymore.
-
The two goal droughts he has had in Chelsea colours, at the start of both of them there were games against Liverpool early on. Could it be Liverpool games that seem to demorilise his confidence? if that the case then maybe we should consider keeping him well away from the game at Anfield in May.
-
I would love it if Kalou scored the winner in the CL final, i wonder what would be the more popular topic of discussion, us being Champions on Europe or Kalou getting another one of those 'lucky tap ins'.
-
Cahill, Kalou and Meireles also scored today by the way.
-
Tottenham or Bolton
-
Torres was superb today but it still has to be Drogba on Wednesday, remember what happened the last time Torres broke a long duck against West Ham? Carlo tried to change the system to accommodate both and it so nearly backfired.
-
Bit harsh, he was good or atleast decent before December, its ever since the City game he's been dreadful.
-
Why do teams always were their new kits at on the last game of the season? It felt wrong us playing the FA Cup final in the following season's kit back in 2010.
-
Torres went on a 17 game drought in games for Chelsea, Liverpool and Spain then went on a mini "run" of something like 6 in 12 and has now resorted back to type and has beaten his last 17 game goal drought and is now on 22 i think. Excuses have ran out, last season after signing in January the service, struggling to settle, not had a proper break for 3 years excuses were viable but since then he has had a summer off, full pre season and while we go on about lack of service, Mata has created more chances then anyone else in the prem this season, why hasn't Torres benefited from Mata? Clear fact is he has scored 5 in 51 games, the fact that 4 of those goals came in 4 consecutive games makes it's even worse. I would love it if he proves me wrong and i will happily take my dose of humble pie but it's 99% not going to happen.

Just got home and found this out, can't believe it i hope he's ok.

I was winning away at X-Rated 1-0 but end up losing 3-1.
