just to add. with AVB one thing keeps entering my mind when i think of him,the writing was on the wall from the start but i guess we were all too optimistic to see it at the time. if a player is not in the team he doesn`t explain to them why. you can think pampered ego`s or whatever but if you not selected for whatever reason if you are a youngster or a veteran..you should always know why. * *this only applies to club sides tho.

i agree that he deserves credit. but it`s marginal.and agree with him that it`s not down to one man.his high line didnt work for us but i do believe the fact that several players quitting on him and for a while the honour of the badge should take some blame too. the credit i give him in helping us win is that he kept some of our better players fresh for the end of the season.

i`ve bolded the point i was trying to make mate. i know we sorted at LB (atleast with two quality starters,one the best LB in the world still and one young stud) i used that position of strength to emphasize the strength of the GK position we are even more sorted...e.g Cech got another 5 years,then our Belgian wonderkid,Sam Walker,Jamaal Blackmon,etc... hope that clears up the misunderstanding mate.

really like this kid. i hadnt seen the classy interview he gave a few months back until scrolling through this thread just now. Kalas and NC got some awesome potential and the right attitude to make it. they believe in their ability but understand it`s a pretty long road to the Chelsea 1st team .(atleast for non -Milk cup games)

funny enough i was playing Fifa last night and signed Sapunaru for those reasons as cover for RB and CB. we didn`t do bad the last time we signed a Romanian RB.... however it is the mail so we probably sign someone else.

i remember being at a wedding reception and during the dancing,the grooms brother ( person with Downs)was bouncing around .after getting drinks you had to walk through the dancefloor with them..i had a tray with a round of about 8 drinks on it. the man with Downs was bouncin` in my direction.i couldnt get out of the way..not easy to dive out of the way when you carrying 8 drinks on a tray. so i braced myself for contact just incase he bounced into me..he did.he went careening across the wet dance floor and then got up screaming i had hit him. i had a fookin` lynch mob after me then and not one of them actually saw the incident.the few that did saw nothing wrong with what i did. the grooms reception ruined by the "cry wolf" behaviour of his brother. kinda reminds me about this whole fiasco...Rio missed out on the Euros because of his cry wolf lil shit of a brother.
