  1. that would induce me to Riverdance in joy. fingers crossed it comes true. tho hopefully 40m Euro`s instead of pounds sterling.
  2. JT tackles tougher than most CB`s when he`s just in the garden with his kids.
  3. i know if we sign him and the kids want his name on the back of their shirts.they can fook off. too risky and too expensive with all those letters!
  4. although i`d prefer him to stay around as a squad member. if he is to be loaned. Werder Bremen would be one of the best destinations possible for many reasons.
  5. yeah i saw earlier on SSN that they have changed plans and are trying to get a deal done before the Olympics now. as i said a few days back he is underestimating the british media if he thinks he will be left alone to concentrate on the Olympics. looks like he understands that now. for once the media has done something good for CFC.
  6. like i said somewhere either in this thread or one of the other CF themed ones. he would be a good alternative to Cavani because although he`s very good player he`s not yet a big name so Torres wouldnt get his knickers in a twist because he would believe that Lewandowski isn`t as much a threat to him as Cavani. i personally think Lewandowski could end up banging lots more in for us during his chelsea career than Torres will but atleast for a season or two he would be back-up and we could atleast all things crossed get some return from Torres in that time.(or try and offload him next summer if he fails).
  7. robbed the clock of cavani`s wife ...well that`s nice. is it a cuckoo clock?
  8. I`m a bit open for the counter attack i know..:
  9. 3-4-3 Krul Terry© Coloccini Baines Mata Dempsey Allen Hazard(VC) Pogrebnyak Giroud Jelavic Mignolet-Cork-Reither-Clark. :blue scalf:
  10. Joined. Hammersmith Hatchets the name. i`m gonna cut you all to ribbons. in a polite and pleasant way..chop chop.
  11. i feel yossi`s pain..must feel like being on the slade tour bus. oi noddy..mind ya barnet..
  12. Modric is in a bind no doubt. he needs to get his side of the story out in the press as much as Levy is twisting things via his ventriloquist dummy villas-boas.
  13. SSN`s reporting via blabbamouth Whelan that there`s been some further talks with Chelsea regarding Moses. via the Tv channel SSN that is.
  14. Ron Gourlay you bucket jaw`d beauty. so we can get Oscar for cheaper than Moses. atleast in money paid upfront. haha sweet.
  15. it`s 25m Euro`s. the british media just using their usual trick of putting the £ sign to get people thinking we are paying more than we actually are. i think it`s really about £19m. i think you`ll like him once you`ve seen him play a full game. the highlights video posted up earlier is great to see for his end product but he covers far more grass than just hanging around the final third.
  16. it appears he will sign by the end of the week. he can play any of those positions but personally i`d play him alongside Mikel as the deep lying creative midfielder and rotate him in and out with Frank. he moves all around the field. always making himself available for the pass and moving it on. whenever i`ve seen him play for Brazil or for his club pretty much every attack has had him involved at some stage. he will have more passes per game than anyone else at CFC. he reads the game very well and controls the tempo. although creative and quite slight he will act responsibly in his defensive duties. an example of this could be seen in the recent Brazil v GB olympic warm up game. Marcelo bombs forward Oscar slides out to LB to cover the hole Marcelo has left just incase it breaks down.
  17. Tottenham have been doing it for years.they will drag it out till the last moment,so once they have sold him they won`t have time to spend that money on a replacement. if selling Modric to us wasn`t something that would have led to their fans turning on him. he would have sold Modric to us last season on transfer deadline day and `arry would have sat in his car talking to the press all day till his car battery run flat.. about how there`s "one or two deals in the pipeline.." and that he`s going go off to see the chairman but doesn`t actually leave the car park..just circles around ready for the next 10 minute update on what`s going on at Tottenham on transfer deadline day.
  18. Run Luka Run. can`t blame the lad.he tried to be decent with them they took advantage of his decency. he fooked off. hope whoever eventually signs him gives them as little as possible to make it even worse for them .
  19. i go to Glasgow too often to comment.don`t fancy being cut up like a monkfish..
  20. damn i forgot about the home grown rule. if that`s the case that is a bummer.i thought the french league would be ideal.
  21. if we are to loan him out i think the french league would be the best. a step forward but not the leap that he may not be ready for yet. no point in taking a step backwards in joining a league any weaker than that tho.
  22. i`m glad atleast our players aren`t scared of competition. we would never have become Champions of Europe. :blue scalf:
  23. i`m cool as a cucumber because it`s the 2nd game of pre-season. no big deal. it`s just a tour to get match sharp and to give the fans in North America a chance to support the club as best they can when they live so far from the Bridge. atleast 3 more games till they kick off in the Prem. where results and performances matter.
  24. i think the club or the people who have worked with him during the years whilst employed by the club should take part of the blame for how they have not helped his development but at the end of the day the result remains the same. he just hasn`t panned out how he could have. i expect him to have a good career ,he has some good skills,he is a good player. but great clubs like us don`t hang onto every player they have that is just good.we need to make room for great players or players that have the potential to be great. maybe kakuta could even become that.but he`s way down the pecking order now so needs to try his luck elsewhere. he`s made it clear he is not willing to take another loan. time to sell/part exchange him.
  25. can`t quote posts at the mo . anyway Magic Lamps, if you look at my post where i said about Marin "in that aspect i see shades of Zola" that actually means just a lil bit of Zola about him for the reasons i stated in my post. i never mentioned each players speed or trickery on the ball. i was merely talking about the things i said in that post. the way they move around always looking for gaps and how they both take unpredictable angles and the fact that despite their small size they are happy to take on the big boys. also you may have seen more of Marin than i have. but i really don`t need a lesson on what Zola could do honestly. i was 20 when he arrived and a season ticket holder going home and away throughout his 7 year stay.
