    • Like already said, he doesn't move us up when compared with the rest we have, this is just bizarre that we are even linked with another winger never mind him
    • I would play gusto right back, James in midfield
    • I would be optimistic if we have 2 midfielders available. But only Caicedo?
    • Having a natural goalscorer in attack is just as important.   Our defense was always going to be average as it seemed like the plan was hope James & Fofana stay fit for most of the season.... Just look at the way the top 6 is going this season, Liverpool/City/Newcastle all have players that can score a goal when needed and turn the game in their favour.
    • Fleece them
    • yes, especially Yoro
    • not completely disagreeing, but it's all the same thing for me--esp in the modern game. Tosin and Trevoh for example, is just too much of the same. Makes the team lose quality in possession.
    • more than our attack, I think our mains issues are the defense and center midfield
    • I agree that he will likely not influence games in attack too much — he’s another 20yo after all. i don’t expect Estevao to do that either. I think Garnacho could help us concede fewer goals, which for me is the main problem with the team right now. Neto does a bit of that too, but has been inconsistent of late. its really hard to win matches, esp away from home, when you concede goals. And as much as people like to talk about the CBs or the DM, I suspect the problem is more of teamwor
    • Tbh, I dont think that garnacho will not make us worst but I also dont think that he is makes us a lot better, specially in the next months
    • the price isn't hard to explain. he plays in the premier league, he's 20 years old, he has a lot of scope for progression and we're halfway through the season and his contract doesn't expire until 2028. we're talking about an argentinian international. garnacho was never going to be cheap.
