We should bid for Pedro. Perfect for our right wing

they wont sell. until winter. they have no backups for front 3 - MSN. they even sold deulofeu for just 6mil euros to everton and let afellay go for free.

their only back up is pedro, along with haddidi,

infact even their mid looks so light weight.

biscuits, iniesta, rocketic. thats it. rafinha and roberto are the only backups.

Not necessarily. It takes more than individuals to make a team. See: The England team of circa 2004-12

Which had a squad available at various times:

Hart

G. Neville Ferdinand Terry A. Cole

Lamps Scholes Stevie G

Beckham J. Cole

Owen

How we never won anything will never be explained. One problem was Lamps and Gerrard not being able to play together in midfield, but the managers never had the foresight to drop one of them. Also, quite simply, the squad just would not gel, for whatever reason.

IMO, PRT will not work either. It will mirror the situation of England in the 2000s - too much attack, too little hold.

Scholes shouldn't count. He was retired by then.

Disappointed, if Chelsea pushed more and offered more money he would be Chelsea for sure. But at the end 34m€ + 7m€ is a bit steep to be honest. Still disappointing they didn't push harder.

There's still loop to come back on the market after new president is elected but it's rather gimmick for public.

But what now, that's a good question. I don't have a clue who is left on the market. Sterling, and maybe Griezmann since Filipe Luis card is still in play. Just don't Enner Valencia @ me.

Even if you swap him out for Carrick it's still a pretty mighty team.

But other countries had teams just as good , and better manager's. But they definitely could of won a tournament, under the right leadership

The only team that could have matched that on paper was Spain's 2008-2012 nearly all Barcelona team. Because it gelled.

To be fair, Carrick should have played instead of or behind Gerrard and/or Lampard. We would have ended up coming a lot further in major tounaments, our all action midfield (as Real Madrid discovered when Modric was injured last season) destroyed us. A balanced midfield would have been Carrick (holding) Lamps (b2b) and Gerrard (10).

Pedro knows he won't play, and Turan can play on the wings too. It's worth a punt

Who said we "offered" anything?

I think i know which twitter account you listen to, and i dont get why you take his words as a fact.

Its kind a ridiculous to be "Disappointed" because of one twitter account with 5000 followers. Have you read some of his other "info"? looks like bulshit.

When did England ever play that team? The players you mentioned enjoyed their primes at different times, except for Ferdinand, Terry, Cole, Lamps and Gerrard. There was always something missing in the England team. And like lucio said, other teams had players just as good or better.

How do you go from Arda is perfect to Pedro is perfect? Two players with completely different characteristics.
