I see CFCPys tweeted a clip of what Maresca actually said about a new CB yesterday. Apparently he did NOT actually say we need to go out and get a new one. It was misreported by everyone last night. He was asked “do you need to bolster your defense after the Colwill injury” and he said yes most likely not knowing what the word bolster means. He probably just meant that we need to find a solution to the problem. Not necessarily through the market, though.By Pizy

Liverpool supposedly lost interest in him a couple weeks ago, I don't believe this rumour right now, unless we go out and buy someone better it doesnt make sense He will get straight into the team etc at Liverpool he will be on the bench The only doubt is that even after all the much better biz we have done, they do want to sign bledy garbanzo so I wont be surprised if they go out and bring in a prospect outside the top 10 list of options! grrr -

Got confused with the amount of young talent on the pitch -amazing skills. Also big shout out to Jorgensen - not much to do 2nd half but some good saves first half - and his distribution was excellent. Bring on the Italians....

Delap needs time and he will get it. Huge difference between him and Joao Pedro, Pedro has mass amounts of PL experience and is a top class player with Delap having one season in the PL with a shit side, but it's a huge step up for the lad and he needs time to bed in and learn from the likes of Joao, I am damn sure I would rather see Liam learning from Joao than a limited JacksonBy Special Juan
