I know @Vesper is a big fan of the current Liverpool backup keeper! It really is a shame that the Valencia keeper (can't spell his name), Donnarumma, Maignan and even Chevalier were all available in the transfer window and yet the club really thought Sanchez + Jorgensen would be enough to compete for top 4 this season.

He wasn't backed in the summer in terms of what he wanted and what the squad needed, reading this morning that Liverpool first choice keeper is out... Shock, they have a stupidly good replacement in the wings. That said, no excuse for the subs these few games past especially when 10 men are capable of winning a match fgs. Awful decision making and utter panic buttons. I'll be surprised if he is here next season in truth.

Nothing in those highlights that he didn't do here, given time on the ball most of the match and subpar opposition. That said, hope he does very well there so we can sell for more, I do not want him back - I think he'd do exceptionally well at Newcastle.

Lol Reece can't start every game and Gusto has never been a good defender, maybe in a few years time with experience he'll get better.

Seems like a very lazy list, including names such as Nagelsmann, Conte, Ancelotti, Simeone. Glasner would be interesting. Iraola will be managing a top 6 side sooner or later.

Surprised they didn't include Fabregas on that list.

This list makes me want to continue with Maresca. Xavi would be an awful idea. Marco Silva and Rosenior can't make the step up imo and Glasner plays a counter-attacking 3-man defence at Palace.

Caicedo & Palmer will be looking to leave end of season if we don’t buck up our ideas. Talk about another uninspiring performance…. Another red card. Lot of stupidity. You’d think the manager be banging the drum on keeping your head/not making stupid decisions to even give the referee a chance. We were lucky Moises didn’t get anything in the aftermath of the Brighton game too….

As someone pointed out elsewhere, I wouldn't be surprised if Guiu is being saved for a loan move in Jan (can only play for two clubs) and Emegha joins us early. There's no other reason for Guiu's lack of playing time especially with our current CF situation.

Not surprising, was able to catch the last 30-35 minutes and it was a scrappy game. At least the players tried the counter-attack and Gittens has the pace, just doesn't know what to do with the ball when he gets near the box, had 2 chances to cut inside and put in a cross or even shoot but kept the ball too long. Good to see Badiashile get some minutes Liverpool will be all over us, especially after two losses.
