BOTH the West ham games.

win those two (lawd knows there were other cockups) and we are almost in the barn for CL

these were the main games that PISSED me off

d4a1d8da8634c9263b4e803516bfe77b.png

we are so SHIT in the Super Cup and the Community Shield, it is embarrassing, along with that fucking loss against a dodgy Corinthians team in the FWCC final in 2012 (only major trophy we do not have that is still contested)

4f04e82a654c0f3bc8967455f85e1791.png cost us the group

then the EPL cockups (so many home fuck-ups)

0a4b191711a69c0ba8bd4bad87b3292e.png blown lead late at home

d126af1e5c1e7bd8f48e08674477fb6d.png shameful home performance (so was Valencia, which set us up to face the monsters Bayern)

55fe83feb2cb70c0408c551544b28031.png ANOTHER shameful home loss

069a2a84f78e56eac0b6b7d12f00ec1e.pngyet another home shutout loss! SOTON was playing like shit then too

313592bd3f2eb93243101bc1b538a01c.pnganother ultra late blown win that turned into a draw  against a shit team(just like Sheffield U, although they are not shit like BHO)

be030f512202d7e2fae73ada27802313.png 94th minute, almost last kick of the game blown draw, probably the most frustrating loss of the year, again against a shit team

c5dfbbcc63e0979a47095c524cb0aa26.png another home blown win, ultra late cough-up for a draw

023390117c639c36bacd9647bb16ffae.png another home shut out pathetic performance

0194e620c0ae7830e8f60d775f74de71.png another shit performance against a shit team, Alonso saved us late from a loss

ec73676d117fb3c250fe1983c38bf2aa.png pathetic last minute loss yet again, versus dregs too

so in the league

5  losses against shit teams, multiple ones at home and/or blown last minute

plus 2 draws (one a pure blown win) against a shit team, plus 2 blown wins for draws last minute against decent teams

plus the Manure home loss

10 SHIT games in the EPL

6 at home (7 home shitters if you count Valencia) 5 of which we DID NOT SCORE a single goal

I didn't list every loss, as we will lose some, for sure

just the most galling ones, the blown ones, the horrific home shut losses

if we had just won a few of the blown losses (out of the 10 shit games) CL and 3rd place would be basically locked up, even if one of those was not the SB Manure game

to truly drill down

these 4 should have been wins for sure (8 points shit away)

c5dfbbcc63e0979a47095c524cb0aa26.pnglast minute blown

0a4b191711a69c0ba8bd4bad87b3292e.pnglast minute blown win

313592bd3f2eb93243101bc1b538a01c.pnglast minute blown win

0194e620c0ae7830e8f60d775f74de71.pngpathetic draw

after those

the worst were (all 4 should have been draws at the least)

be030f512202d7e2fae73ada27802313.pngBlown draw so late (last kick of the game)

d126af1e5c1e7bd8f48e08674477fb6d.png

55fe83feb2cb70c0408c551544b28031.png

ec73676d117fb3c250fe1983c38bf2aa.pngultra late blown draw

I will just chalk off the Manure and SOTON home collapses as shit happens

so end of day

we should have 12 more points than we do

we would be in 2nd place, above Shitty

and now

I will chop that 12 IN HALF

just to be ultra conservative

so 6 points

meaning at WORST we have an 8 point lead over manure (if they win their next game which they should) and a 7 point lead over Leicester

meaning 2 wins (Norwich plus either Wolves of SU) in the last 4 GUARANTEES 3rd no matter what the other teams do

In fact (barring the biggest upset of the year for us versus Norwich) a win versus Sheffield would have basically wrap up 3rd

just 6 more points from a blown possible 30 (if we had won all 10) is all I would ask (so 2 wins from losses or 1 win and 3 draws in games we lost)

we only got FOUR points out of possible 30 as it stands and 6 of those games were at the Bridge

that is where I am coming from

'The dream is to have a team full of Scousers' - Klopp's long-term Liverpool plan

https://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/premier-league/liverpool/the-dream-is-to-have-a-team-full-of-scousers-klopps-long-term-liverpool-plan-39347636.html

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he was encouraged by the development of the club's academy graduates and hopes to have an entire squad of homegrown talent at his disposal in the future.

Liverpool secured the top-flight title for the first time in 30 years last month, leading to suggestions that Klopp would give more game time to next generation players such as Neco Williams, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott in the season's seven remaining games.

That theory ended when Liverpool were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester City in their first outing after being crowned champions.

However, German Klopp, whose side are 23 points clear of second-placed City, insisted that his long-term vision is to have a club filled with local talent.

"What we want to be is the sport for everybody with a Scouse soul. The perfect scenario is that we have these role model professionals around," the Liverpool boss told reporters in a virtual news conference ahead of their visit to Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday.

"If the boys follow this path with their talent they will have proper careers. The dream is to have all the boys from the academy. The dream is to have a team full of Scousers."

Jones and Elliott have signed long-term deals with the Premier League champions and Klopp is glad the duo have committed their futures to the club.

"The biggest plus for young players is time. We try to help them as much as they can to become the best players they can be," he said.

"I really like that these boys have committed their future. Our academy is producing some great players in the past few years. The more players you can produce yourself is better (as) it saves you money."

no clue but we have swap + cash options

I would assume he would be around £40m or so

I do not have a really strong grasp on what he is valued at by Everton

Was just coming in here to say this. Spuds are excruciatingly boring. They have regressed massively from a year ago.

And with Mou in charge + very limited funds.....yikes!
