So, spitting at someone is much worse than committing a reckless challenge on a player. What a joke!

I agree this is ridiculous. I'd rather they get slapped with a 2 match ban and fined 2 weeks of wages or something. Dangerous tackles are the thing that really need to be cut out

Let's not also forget that Suarez got an eight-game ban for making racist comments to Evra. This is only one less than that. So, to the FA, the severity of the offences are similar despite one being more serious than the other.

Reckless challenges or gobbing ?

You have to think what tarnishes the game to their precious TV audiences the most. What worries them the most in terms of losing subscribers, and ultimately money ?

Some armchair fan sitting cosily at home is more likely to have their delicate sensibilities disturbed by the sight of green phlegm, than a crunch 'manly' tackle. That is why the authorities give out such draconian punishments for gobbing and want it erased from the (TV) game.

It seems I'm the only one here who likes Tim sherwood.

Poor tactician but good motivator. If he learns a little tactics he could keep villa up

tbh motivation was exactly what a club like Villa needed, it's been very flat for a while now. Tactics can wait for later.

And can somebody explain to me how Roberto Martinez is escaping criticism? Everton are 3pts off from the relegation zone, and nobody seems to care, or be making a big deal out of it.

Am i missing something?

Yeah, that they're six points off [emoji23]

But but but, they pass the ball around and don't play long ball or park the bus :(
