Eight different books have been released to commemorate the story of Liverpool’s second-placed finish in the Premier League and how close they came to re-establishing themselves as the champions last season?

Completely. Deluded, living in the past, I am loving watching motd 2 and Palace destroying them.

Speak to any Liverpool fan here and tell them you support Chelsea and they look at you like you just raped a bird. They are the most ignorant bunch of fuck wits you'll ever meet. To them anybody that supports any other team is a glory hunting, bandwagon wanker and doesn't deserve to taste success that is "rightfully theirs". I'll always give credit to other teams that play good football. You'll never hear them say a positive thing about anybody else.

They have an excellent team right now but this team hasn't won the WC, while a lot of the current German team won the two back-to-back WCs and the last 3 Euros. Maybe if the USA win the WC in the summer they would be considered the best. Right now it's too close to call between them, Germany and Japan.

Not really the same as a WC, though as most teams play younger players instead of their best teams. Germany didn't even play the last Olympics.

Nope...

The mens olympics and womens are different. USA fielded their best team as did everyone else...

The men's is a u23 tournament with 3 older players.

ANd the last world cup they lost in pks...

And Germany fielded their young players which is why they didn't qualify.

Tell me, if the Olympics are as important as the WC, why does the USA women NT have two stars in their logo to represent their 2 WC wins and not 4 to represent their 4 Olympics wins?

Because the sponsors do it like that...

You make it seem that it was their choice..

You dont live in USA, girls here value the olympics more than the world cup... This is not the men's olympics. USA and most other teams field their best teams. WTF would you not field the best team.
