Well, not very good results for Chelsea today, eh ?

I was hoping for Arsenal to win, then. Oh well, Chelsea needs to win on Wednesday & whip Arsenal on the weekend.

Depends on how you look at it. I don't think it wasn't to bad of a weekend for us. Top three is our first worry, so all cards back in our hands for that one.

Was hoping for a draw so that it keeps Man City in sight and Arsenal away from us. However, a City win is still a decent result for us as it keeps Arsenal a distance back. Win our next 2 games and we'll be 13 points clear of them.

And just realized earlier that the 10 teams below us this season have all failed to win.

I know I might be dreaming here only but I still think Chelsea just may catch up with Citeh though.

calculating Chelsea´s win against Arsenal as a must too. Therefore, I wanted them to win today.

Fair but we'll see how it goes as the season progresses. Vital to consolidate our position in Top 3 right now.

I reckon, that has been a good weekend for us in achieving our main aim for this season (top 4), as tottenham and everton drew and arsenal lost... We won obviously and if you had offered me that on friday i would have definitely take it... Lets make them all battle for 1 fourth spot and not drag ourselves into that race for fourth. Of course, the win away vs stoke means very little if we don't get the job done vs southampton. We can still catch up to city in theory and if we win our game in hand we go 4 points behind them i think.

Another thing might be that Citeh are out of almost every competition now & they will be much fresher to play their games too.

As we know, every team will hit a slump. Perhaps, even Manure might hit one soon ? I doubt it though.

Fergie is the man who somehow cultivated luck as a tactic. How he did that is beyond me. Liverpool had enough chances to win at OT.

van Persie IMO is everything that makes Utd better than us or City at the moment. If we had bought him we would be there up top (neglecting he probably would not have signed for us as former Arse player). Utd look so vulnerable against any side, I have not seen them beating anyone impressively except some rare exceptions.

But it makes me confident, if we sign a top striker in summer and do not let go of Lamps or Cole, we will get that EPL trophy back once again.

The bloke doing the live commentary on my application referred to Dzeko as "The Serb". Now I found this really confusing and I kept checking to see if Natasic or Kolarov was on the field. But of course "The Serb" must be French or Spanish for "The Bosnian Diamond".

Persie was never an option as the club had full faith in Torres as our main striker.I am just disappointed that Drogba left the club.With the midfield we have at the moment,the Ivorian would have averaged at least a goal a game and we surely would have been top of the league.Torres's on field performance hasn't been the only problem for us.

I don't know. Drogba is gret but not as a prolific finisher as RVP. furthermore Drogs ahs never been someone for the bread&butter games, rather for the big occasion. Our play would be completely different with him. Nonetheless I agree, we probably would have 1 or 2 titles more with him by now, would not be out of the CL. Should have kept him and even more we should know, what happens, when the board continues to commit these brainfarts and let our legends leave to early.
