Such a weird team to watch. You'd expect from mid-table teams to be inconsistent, but I don't recall seeing anyone else doing that in such fashion.

Why Vesper? For how long must we bend the knee? Has been going on since June now. Why say black lives matter? Why not say all lives matter instead......this will only divide us further. the DEFAULT position in majority white counties is that by every measure, white lives are valued over black lives

coppers have not been hunting down, brutalising, maiming, and killing whites in cold blood for centuries simply because they are white

they DO do that with us PoC

and the knee-taking IS a reminder of the hate and racism we people of colour face every day

it is not like one day we can snap our fingers and stop being non-white (and why the fuck would we want to or have to do so anyway?)

kneeling keeps it in people minds, the death and misery, the hate, the discrimination, the simple dehumanisation at every level we have suffered under for centuries and still do, still die because of, still are treated like shit over, so often based off nothing more than the colour of our skin

Reminding? And what good does that do exactly? Do you see it being effective long term? Cuz I cant. Surely we can come up with better methods no? And yes all lives matter without exception, now I know folks of colour has had it bad here and there, God knows I too have been checked by cops so so often just because im mulat with dark hair and yellow eyes, they per auto think im a criminal and I have repaid their kindness in kind, but I just dont see how bending the knee will actually have any meaningful impact to help the cause. We also have had " say no to racism "banners for a long ass time, but we still witness it often. To make it short we must find a better way. Brentford along with their players will not be the last ones to do this. Not bending the knee does not make you a racist.

I am also not white (brown skinned to dark brown skinned, typical indian) and I have faced racism in my life couple of times directly. When I was younger, there were times, in which people called me monkey etc. because I am not white like the rest of them. Obviously, indirect racism is also very common, much more common. 

But me personally, I also don't think taking the knee changes anything. Racism is much deeper and needs to be adressed  in school or something like that. I don't believe that when a rascist sees the "BLM take the knee action" that he feels sorry for being racist or something like that. 

How to deal with racism? In my opinion, people should stop identifying with skin color, nationalities, religions, sexual orientation etc. and instead focus more on identifying as human beings instead. But people will not do that. I never understood why people think that they are special because they were born a specific skin color.
