Special Juan 28,141
There's no smoke without fire. Surely Mourinho wouldn't 'confirm' anything like that if there weren't advanced negotiations taking place with some club for a forward. Whether it's Rooney, Eto'o or some surprise player I'm growing ever more confident that by September the 3rd we'll have a new striker in the team.This.Jose knows who he wants, we all know who is our main target and it just so happens the main man we want looks as pissed off as me when they call time at the bar.Rooney is the missing piece. NishC300 1,865
Acorrding to Gazzetta, Man United have contacted Eto'o's agent for the second time today.Interesting. They wouldnt think about Eto'o if they were sure that Rooney is staying... I belive.Or maybe they want to see how our deal is going on?

Special Juan 28,141
If he was happy he would of celebrated and been part of the celebrations, he wasn't, and it still all points to him wanting away.Apparently we will make a last offer of 40M in the coming days. bushman 2,043
Even though, one never know with this Rooney saga. Having said that, I believe it´ll be rejected again. For Jose, to piddle with him, sometimes I do not get it.If Jose is so vehement in signing a striker, why not look elsewhere ?Are we in for the bombshell, soon ? The_Flash 1,144
I really think he should be looking elsewhere. I don't think Rooney is the answer. Yesterday we did fine but unlike Utd who have RVP as a guaranteed goal machine we dont seem to have that and I really really think we need to get someone who is going to score goals. It was not our 'strikers' who looked like getting a goal
