I see it other way. Jose´s control of media has destabilized them. If Rooney is not coming, there is always a chance to buy other striker at the end or in January. Meanwhile, Lukaku, BA & Torres could do the job.

Got a coach who does not know jack about winning trophies, Ageing Ferdinand, declining Vidic, declining Evra, Fergie,van Pussy and Carrick unlikely to win them the title again inspite of a shit squad. And as for his footballing ability? You can call him overrated or whatever, I don't really mind that. But to say he's a "terrible" footballer is just naive and stupid.

I don't post much and prefer to read the forum which I've been glued to over the last 10-11 days.

Judging by the rumours and the behaviour of Rooney it looks like he is prolonging this just as a cause to get more money from United. I hate to say it but I highly doubt he'll be joining; I think Manures will offer him a new contract and everything will be 'dandy' as far as mufc are concerned.

Albeit saying this I really hope I'm wrong as Rooney would be great for Chelsea, but I thought I'd throw my opinion out there.

as if rooney wouldnt try to play as good as possible and just chill on the bench. if he stays, he will give his all. also he hasnt hand in a transfer request yet..so maybe his desire isnt that big to move.

they had the same squad the last season and still won the league without big problems. so, yes, they are atm at a better position than we are. at least they have 4!!! proper strikers while we have none (or one upcoming with Lukaku). people have burried them so many times and still they won. also the transfer summer isnt over yet..who knows who they will buy.
