Just came home from playing paintball with +50 people. It was a lot of fun, although I managed to hurt my ankle pretty badly towards the end and now it hurts like hell. Already promised to go drinking with a bunch of friends so hopefully the alcohol will make the pain go away.

P.S.: Ankle injuries suck. I'm still recovering from mine.

How did it go, suomalainen veli? Had you played paintball before your service in the military? Did army do any good to your sniping and tactical skills? :)

I did okay. As for the second question, I wouldn't know as I haven't done my military service. One of my friends has done some peacekeeping work for the UN though and he wasn't any better than me today so I guess it doesn't make much of a difference.

And Romper, it was only my second time. Will go again as soons as I get the opportunity to do so.

Paintball and kart racing are the best things to do with your friends....

I once played boys vs girls, it was hilarious!

I play every now and then, I think I have played about 10-15 times already. Really cool! :D

Not sure if I mentioned it already or not but I did some kart racing a couple of weeks ago too, there's a track only a few hundred meters away from my home. :P

How many finns are there on this board then? I remember talking to one of you 9-10 months ago about this stuff. My bad, hope you enjoyed it mate. :D

I once did kart racing but the kart I drove had a broken steering wheel and only could steer to right. I have to say we drove anti clockwise, haha. Also when I went to school, our class decided to go play paintball and also with us was our class teacher, a over 2m guy with lanky physique. Not to mention, noone wanted him to be in their team because he was so big and an easy target. Turned out he was somesort of a sniper and picked opposing team members out with precision shots from long range with a low pressure shitty paintball gun. He soloed the entire enemies' team. Person by person people came out of the woods, cursing, with a paint splatter on their forehead. I guess headshots were his trademark move. Amazing. :)

Hate Like Spike

Volume, 1

This mainly concerns men, because quite frankly I don't really care about female culture and tropes. Why you ask? Because I'm not a fucking female. To get started, you know what pisses me off? Tattoos. That's right tattoos. Why the fuck do men do this? To tell a story? To remind them of something meaningful? If you want to tell a fucking story, get some scars. Scars explain shit, look at Ribery, he always has a story to tell and people will fucking listen to his shit when he talks. Nobody gives a fuck how you got a tattoo, and they certainly don't care what it means. A scar on the other hand, people do give a fuck how you got that motherfucker, and you can tell them this with a straight face, and if the truth is embarrassing fucking lie. A complete stranger isn't going to realise you are lying your ass off to impress them, and if you're lucking the stranger is a fit bird with big titts; a man can dream right? It's a lot more interesting than telling a story about how you nearly cried in a back alley tattoo parlour. And don't give me this 'it means something to me' bullshit or it 'reminds me of something' crap. If it's that important you don't need a constant fucking reminder. It should be ironed into your mind so far that not even Memento styled amnesia can rob you of it. Now I'm not against all tattoos. I've seen some that have blown my mind but that's rare as all hell, and in jail they can make you look like a crazy motherfucker. Looking like a crazy motherfucker can lessen the chances of anal rape and soap beatings, so they do have their practical side as well.

The other day at University I was working with the ranger Hipster arsehole. He had tattoos on both of his palms, it was some overly fancy Microsoft WORD font that I couldn't quite read but I found the whole time I was focusing on his damn tattoos and not what he was talking about. I've literally never had a proper conversation with this arsehole because all I can do is stare at his palms, I don't even know the guy yet I think he is an arsehole because of his stupid tattoos. What's worse is that the whole time I had to resist the urge to jump on my chair and barrage him with insults and rhetorical questions about his tattoos and then kicking him in the chest with my average sized foot.

Fuck tattoos, get scars.
