Rambo is probably the happiest player after the Fabregas signing. I honestly believe he'll return to the level he was at in the 11/12 season. He was a bit of a square peg in a round hole these past two seasons but with the Matic and Fabregas signings he can finally return to his box to box role.

More importantly, having him in the team means there's yet another runner for Cesc to pick out.

Unreal performance today. He's lethal going forward in a 4-3-3, thought he was awful defensively though. He along with Matic left our back 4 exposed far too often.

I actually thought he was very poor defensively. The goal kind of masked his performance, but he didn't provide anywhere near enough cover for our backline as he got caught out far too many times. His passing was also poor, but that's normal for him I guess.

A strange one, Ramires.. He has outstanding qualities (finishing, his pace and workrate) but his general passing game is so fucking sloppy. Most games he plays there's at least a couple of facepalm moments with him.

Luckily for him his major qualities are good enough to merit a spot in a top club

Jekyll and Hyde performance today for me. He was so excellent in bits but also very poor in a few others. Doesn't matter though since he was very decisive today.

Ramires is a very good player in that 4-3-3.

This match summed up Ramires perfectly.

Sloppy in possession a lot of the time, struggled to control the game (although not alone in that), gave the ball away, missed his man....but when the game becomes stretched and he has space he can make barrelling runs forward and get a goal.

When you win a game you can smile at his 'quirks', but when he loses a game then you'll find plenty of faults to pick out.

Good and important goal .. but overall he's a huge liability ... especially in defense.

Theres no way on earth i would put him on the pitch ... if fab, matic, mikel, hazard and willian are all able to play.

You guys do realise no player apart from Messi is perfect right? He was sloppy on the ball today at times but he still got two assists and a goal. At least he wasn't repeatedly caught on the ball like Cesc today.

He obviously needs to improve defensively though. He's usually very reliable but was woeful on that end today. Constantly out of position at crucial moments and gave away so many needless fouls.

especially after the yellow. just look at how he let ,cgeady run past him. literally took his foot off the challenge.

No-one expects perfection and to be honest this was probably a good game for Ramires but he's a massive liability. With him in the team we'll struggle to control games because Everton bossed that midfield today.
