I agree that he is a good player and that he has something the other players doesnt have but he has done very little on the right wing. Did he do anything good when he came on agaisnt Newcastle?

No, he sucked today. But let's don't forget that he is not a winger. He would be much better as a cmf. Our formation (4-2-3-1) is not so good for him. But, he is a really good player, i guess we should find a place for him.

I hate seeing him deployed on the wing, but we shouldn't be blaming him, in fact we should be happy that he's not a prima donna that moans about being played out of position, he just gets on with it.

I think he is going to be used as a 'tactical-player' by Roberto against players who haven't really used to his fast closing down, or pase when chasing down, or to come on when the opposition are tired and/or if we are playing counter. He is such a great player, but like it was being said before the 4-2-3-1 doesn't suit him, but if we played like we did today (4-3-3 kind of formation) he have the freedom to charge forward like he does so perfectly!

Oh my.. Ramires was one of our best players last season. He is a running machine, he scored a lot of important goals in 2011/12. And you don't want to see him on the pitch? Nice. Oscar is a very talented young player, but he hasn't proved anything here but Ramires has.

I appreciate what ramires did for us,mainly in CL,but i just dont think he has been playing well at all in the wing recently,he should play at his original position, CM/DM in the double pivot.

I would be in favor of him starting if we kept playing underdog football like last season,but now we are much different and we require other qualities from our attacking players

Yeah, we should stop playing players in positions where they are simply not effective. Ramires can play right mid, but only in matches like the one against Barca where we intend to defend and counter attack he doesn't work when our build up play is slow with no urgency and there is no space for him to exploit.

with a front three of the obvious three; Torres, Hazard, Mata.

We would be strong defensively and also the ball would pass quickly into attack with Ramires and Oscar acting as deep lying playmakers.

He plays very bad at the wing in recent games,i would rather see Moses on the right,and look how Ramires does in the defensive midfield.

I feel Ramires would do a decent job in the defensive midfield if we have people around him ready to receive a pass when he is under pressure. When it comes to defending, he would help a lot. BUT, when deployed in the DM his forward runs are really restricted. If he bangs on forward, he will leave only 1 DM behind and if we lose the ball it could get really dangerous.

I'm not a fan of him on the right wing, but when there is space he is good to have and let's not forget that he helps in our defense also.

Best position for him is for sure in the central midfield in 4-3-3 where he has freedom. Shame because he is a great player, but just not really suited for 4-2-3-1.
